Staff and owners were lovely down to earth ,would definately go back because of the friendliness .
It was a bit noisy off the front road you could hear everything and the garage was just next door .
dirty carpet dirty windows poor towels
IT was close to town & Friendly
banging doors & screeching doors
It had its own parking
We thought it was very untidy and ill kept, could have done with a big sweep around the whole place.
WiFi was terrible very noisy area
Cereals in own box. Transferring carton of orange from one table to the another.
Bedding was clean,big comfy bed
Cleanliness poor, disabled facilities shocking
It was dirty, dingy & dated.
Everything else - very poor condition, kitchen very low standard - didn't bother with breakfast and left a day early
The owners were very friendly and welcoming, we really liked them.
Everything about the hotel other then the owners. I know £45 a night is cheap but I honestly wouldn't go back here unless someone paid me. The room was OK, not a great bed and looking a bit run down but otherwise all right. It didn't help that it was one of the hottest days / nights of the year and there was no air con or fan so with only a tiny window to open it got really boiling. The bathroom was awful, there was more peeled areas than bits where the wallpaper was still on, clearly it hadn't been done up for ages. The worst thing was the complete lack of soundproofing between our room and what felt like the whole of the rest of the hotel. Admittedly it was a saturday night so there was bound to be some noise but having gone to bed at midnight we were then kept awake for an hour by hearing conversations from lots of the other rooms as well as doors banging, toilets flushing etc. We then got woken up at 2am by some guests having a conversation which turned into an argument which went on for an hour and a half. I accept that if people are shouting it isn't the hotel's fault but there was literally no sound proofing at all, the whole of the hotel might as well have been sleeping in one open room. To be honest it was just an awful night and if we do stay in High Wycombe again it won't be here. Sorry to the owners for the bad review, maybe we were unlucky with out experience.
Our room was next to a petrol station, very noise, room dirty, hairs(not yours) all over the place, mould...never again!
A fan was provided which was very much appreciated.
Scruffy outside appearance, TV did not work, tiles falling off in bathroom, extra bed in room made it impossible to reach window without standing on spare bed, extractor fan did not work in bathroom, breakfast tea was a teabag with hot water.
Staff very kind
No restaurant around
The location was good with a services/mini market right next door. The hotel so reminded my husband and I of our honeymoon in India.
The hotel could do with a bit of TLC. From the outside it looks quite run down. Could do with new curtains and a bit of a spruce up.
Poor hot water and no wi fi from my room
The bathroom smell was disgusting and dirty . Shower was dirty . Room smell was awful Don't stay here
the guy was friendly but totally out of his depth - working very hard, but not trained in any way. Has it recently changed hands? They really didn't seem to know what they were doing!
dirty, grotty, AA 3 star? They must have robbed the sign from somebody else. You shouldn't have fleapits like this on your books, it give a bad impression of your vetting process if you have one. It's an awful indictment of UK tourisms standards!
Clean, confortable beds. Main room clean.
No plugs plugged in. Used tissue on the bathroom floor. Grotty dirt on shower curtain and up bathroom wall. Poor shower water flow.
There were bed bugs in the bed... I woke up covered in bites. The person I travelled with had to use my shower because his broke and I had to use his toilet because a pipe burst. There was nothing clean about the room... We had to leave and move in somewhere else and we were given no refund for the nights we hadn't stayed.
good facilities, adequate room, comfortable bed.
For the money I cudnt complain Think the reviews were unfair .... Go with an Open mind If u want the savoy then pay £250 a NITE more !!!!
To be fair it was fine ... Read the reviews Tried to cancel n cudnt In the end stayed an extra NITE n they discounted me £5 ..... Ok if u pay more Then u get more I think with the economy as it is the owners are doin all they can ... No bar or breakfast but free wifi in the room ..... Best to look on bookin. Com And see wat takes ur fancy .. U cud do worse n cheap cab into town ..... I thought I was gonna be GOIN to a doss house It wasn't like that
The price attracted me to the facility.
Visitors are charged £10 to get into host's room. The was not stated on the advert. Staff are very rude. The worst customer service I ever experienced. This place is a disgrace.
Friendly staff. Plenty car park spaces. Free wifi.
When I first checked in, the toilet's rubbish bin had not been cleaned up yet.
Out of date interior Out of date TV and facilities Bathroom was disgusting The pictures are a conn on the website Dirty cups and glasses Itchy bedding and old flat pillows Wouldn't stay again! A one off experience
