Soba restaurant located 5 minutes walk away on Briers Road, an excellent place to eat and drink. No hot water, inacuracy about the availability of parking at the hotal as it is in fact on street parking where you are very lucky to find a spot. very small rooms with only a shower, you would be better off in a premier inn.

Looked very clean and comfortable, lots of space, breakfast was cooked to order and tasted very good. They down-graded us from a 4 bedroom room to a 3 bedroom room, which was fine, there were only 3 of us, but they didn't lower the price.

Staff was super! Facilities were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good as well as very filling. Pam was helpful, courteous and always smiling. Coffee, tea and biscuits in room, along with a small refrigerator. Parking upon arrival was a pain. Had I known how to get to the back lot, it would have been helpful; will be next time.

Very friendly helpful staff at welcome. Very comfortable beds. Again very helpful staff at breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Room 13 - Shower was poor - despite following instructions on notice - found the pressure of the shower little above a light dribble - I should have reported it to staff to let them fix it but really hadn't the time. This was the only disappointing aspect to my visit and certainly not enough put me off staying again - I do hope to be back.

location, staff, facilities, cost, space within room. No central heating, room supplied with plug in oil heaters-not powerful enough on severely cold day/night.

Quiet and well positioned Good breakfast, but fresh coffee required rather than machine. Warm room. The bathroom needed complete renovation. Very old noisy fridge in the room, not necessary.

Great welcome from Louise. It was lovely in the common areas and the hotel was spotless. Great as an alternative to staying in the city centre, as the location really could not have been better for the west end. The room was very dated - not very nice wallpaper and the shower was pretty bad, and I had to make do with a cold trickle, instead of a proper shower. This wasn't a big deal for me, but might not be great for a family, or for longer stays.

staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a well stocked tray of tea/coffee making facilities and the mini bar fridge was a bonus for storing cold drinks. The breakfast was good, hot food orders taken promptly and brought to the table promptly good and hot. Excellent location, lots of shops and bars nearby and subway to city centre just a short walk away but traffic noise in room was minimal. The front door of the hotel was kept locked which gave a good sense of security. There is no bar in the hotel, therefore no rowdiness, so if you like somewhere quiet this could be the place for you. as a solo traveller I had booked a double room yet the bathroom was really small. The shower cubicle felt very cramped and the shower unit was quite old; to get the water fairly warm meant losing pressure. This is the only negative thing I would comment on and as a short stay visitor it wasn't too bad!

Very high standards of cleanliness both inside and out. Very large self catering apartment suited our needs perfectly-not overly fussy and plenty of space for our two teenage boys! Great location for walks in the gardens and to visit our relatives. Staff very helpful and not intrusive. We like our privacy on holidays! Nothing -this is our second stay here!
