very impressed with the space and the fact there were family rooms at reasonable price. So lucky we had appt too as it happened. very clean, well decorated and very convenient for visiting daughter at uni next yr. Will def book again. Breakfast was excellent , lovely full english but not greasy- Would have liked marmite!! nothing but wonder what is best way to secure booking of triple 0r family rooms in the future at best prices |

We liked the calm atmosphere =unusual in the middle of a city. The attentiveness and politeness of the staff and the great breakfast for only £5. We couldnt make the hot water work in the shower or the baisin and the light over the shaving mirror didnt work |

It was ideally situated for us as we have a daughter at Glasgow University. I thought the breakfast menu a bit uninspiring. Scotland is the home of the fried breakfast and there was none of the haggis, dumpling, lorne sausage tottuy scones etc available that one would have hoped for. |

Convenient parking and access to city centre. Very poor hot drinks at breakfast (hot is not a true description). No hand/ face towels, only bath size. Poor quality toilet paper. The Hotel has gone down the scale since our previous visits, doubtful about further stays! |

Proximity to the river and quiet sausages, 'greeting' on arrival, beds cold, one blanket provided, bathroom heater didn't work, pictures awful and screwed to the wall.. |

Spacious room, overlooking trees and River Kelvin. Very handy for the university and Byres Road area. We were told on arrival that the electricity would be charged via the meter but this was not mentioned when we booked online. On departure we were told that we would not be charged. Had we known this we might have used the heating as the room was freezing! There was no washing up liquid or wipe cloths. |
