This hotel was great! It's a short walk to the underground and is convenient to cafes, grocery, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was great! It comfortably slept 4 adults (quad room). VERY reasonable price for what you get! I would definitely stay again. the bathroom was a little small, but manageable.

Perfect location for my trip. Visit was for a wedding at Oran Mur. This was just over the bridge, 2 minutes away. I had a small room which was perfect because I spend my holidays out and about. Awesome breakfast came with the price and the staff were very friendly. You get good transport links into city centre, or if you wish, it is a good distance to walk because of the exercise.

It is a nice and cosy place to stay at. Friendly staff, nice rooms, close to where it happens, but not in the middle of everything. Quite excellent!

Great place to stay. The staff is very accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend the hotel and would happily return. A great bonus was its location next to the Kelvingrove River trail which is a lovely path to walk.

Taps in the ensuite where too cold and too hot, woul have been nicer if there was more control over temperature or a mixed hot and cold tap Also cold tap didn't close fully and was very stiff to open

Very convenient for Byres Road and the west end, and on the door step of the botanic gardens The plumbing could be better, and in particular the shower temperature changed from scalding hot to cold on a whim.

I liked pretty well everything about the Ambassador except for the parking facilities, hard to find, virtually unmarked and difficult of access. The coffee machine provided a lukewarm beverage of uncertain content but I understand it is to be replaced. Special word of praise for Pam

Situated in a quiet part of the city Bar facilities were poor and there was no lounge area. The room (in the apartments next door) was small, cramped and not comfortable for lounging.

Fine big rooms and good cooked breakfast. Friendly welcome and goodbye. Rooms rather dated and support column in room in awkward position for getting in and out of bed on one side.
