Score from 2494 reviews Very good
Very small room Dirty shower door Dirty carpet Found hair on top of bedding but NONE inside bed which is great! Expensive breakfast but not a breakfast person so didn't mind not having breakfast
comfortable beds, decent towels and much improved breakfast
Your bar staff very helpful but the bar area is not welcoming or comfortable to sit in and is always cold. The scaffolding on outside of hotel may be necessary but was never explained to us by any of the stag not were there any notices anywhere apologising for this.
Location is great being right by Euston Station. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is well maintained & it was good value
Our twin room was a tight squeeze with just about enough room for two single beds. More irritating and surprising was the total lack of storage. There was an extremely narrow wardrobe which was full once I put one single coat in it. No chest of drawers at all so we had to live out of our suitcases (ok for one night but impossible for any longer). There were no shelves or surfaces at all in the bathroom to place toiletries or make-up. Very strange for a hotel.
Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, quiet, good night's sleep.
An alarm call and a paper were offered but neither materialised. As it happened, it did not matter.
We liked the location, the shower and the free coffee and biscuits.
The room could have been cleaner, and the fixtures and fittings were either tired or simply installed badly.
Location - close to St Pancras \railway Station.
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Stained bed linen. Miniscule bathroom. Awful value for money.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff.
Scaffolding at the front of the hotel and no obvious sign, my wife walked pas the hotel due to this, adding another 10 minutes to her journey. Room was a little too crowded as the desk chair was in the way, it wouldn't go under the desk.
Room was really small Scaffolding (and workers) outside the window Internet didn't work
Proximity to St Pancras.
Even by London standards it is over-priced.
Room and bed were fabulous
Price of breakfast was ridiculous
Small room but everything you need is provided. Good location. Just beside Russell Sq tube station.
Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms
-great location, close to railway, buses and underground. -easy walks to British museum -polite staff - wifi so useful
no dislikes other than lack of ironing board and iron
Great location near St. Pancras
Quite noisy and scaffolding up outside meant keeping blinds and curtains closed.
very good location
some stains on the wall and bed linen not quite clean, staff at restaurant and some at the reception not that interested
Single rooms are expensive and are next to the employees exit door, so from time to time you will hear the door banging day and night
Proximity to eurostar station. And, Prezzo restaurant on the corner.
Staff knocked on the door but just walked in without waiting to be admitted.
small, dirty room unfriendly staff to expensive for a two star hotel (the four stars is a lie) bad experience
The location of the hotel was excellent - if you like being just off the Euston Rd. In this case the visit was for a seminar in the hotel. The place is clean and adequate and the staff are good if very busy at checkout / checkin times. If you are trapped indoors all day do go out at lunchtime and explore Bloomsbury - it's worth it.
The room was a small double and it was just as well I was on my own. The wetroom style bathroom means the bathroom floor is actually wet a lot of the time. The meeting room for the seminar did not have enough toilets nearby, the chairs become very hard after a whole day and the lunch was barely adequate. The speaker was fantastic and made up for it all.
Very tight in space
Breakfast and service-comfort and cleanliness.
I think that I was cheated out of at least £20 from my deposit that I was not forewarned about-this left me near destitute all day and forced me to curtail my visit.
Having read the other reviews before staying at The Ambassadors Bloomsbury I wanted to comment to say that we had a great stay; room was a good size, quiet, confortable & the temperature was fine /adjustable. The staff were very helpful & we ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The location's very convenient & when in London we'll no doubt ise this hotel again!
Thoughtful and considerate reception staff, thank you.
Constant hum of large fan outside window all night.
Restaurant was very nice. Attended training course located at the hotel so was very convenient
Room was pretty average but clean. A but surprised there was no iron.
location, comfort of mattress, cleanliness,
very small en-suite shower room
