The location of the hotel and its comfort. Helpful staff and a lovely bedroom.
A tiny television but who cares anyway?
Made to feel welcome and provided breakfast early.
The location is stunning and so was the hospitality we received.
Made a real effort on Valentine's Day to make it a romantic evening.
Uncomfortable beds and the rooms were extremely hot and we were not able to turn off the radiators.
Venue, bed, breakfast.
Food in restaurant excellent. Comfortable bed & cosy room. Good Wi-Fi.
Unfortunately we were not made to feel welcome. Owner(?) complained about Booking.com customers. Most other staff quite good. Our room in the annex had no shower screen and a hopeless hand held shower. No control over heating so room was overly hot.
Firstly I would like to say thank you to Carol, who made me feel very welcomed and gave excellent service. Cannot fault the food or service.
Wish the shower room was a bit bigger, especially for someone like myself who is 6'4, felt very cramped. Would be nice if when arriving it may have been considered.
Welcome was excellent and it was impossible to fault the food, the setting or the impossibly beautiful sunset views from our room.
Nice hotel with very friendly host and locals. Beware that booking.com rate is bed only - breakfast is extra £9.95 full english
Friendly staff and very helpful
Squeaking sign throughout the night plus rooms very hot - it was winter weather though and difficult to regulate in such an exposed and old property
A so called premier room that had no wardrobes or chest of draws. Nowhere to put clothes. Poor value for money.
The room was ideal for our needs and was complimented by the staff and ambience of the Inn.
Food was excellent
Not bad for the price but small cheep fixes in the room had just been left, chips in the bath, cables hanging on outside of the window etc!
Room needs some tlc
easy parking beside Inn very warm welcome roaring fire in the saloon bar brilliant views from the bedroom great attitude to dog hearty breakfast
Amazing food and lovely location. Highly recommend.
We had a fabulous room with a Sitting room just needed a fire and it would be perfect.
A little bit isolated in the winter months. Would be perfect on the summer.
Beautiful location, comfy beds and warm room. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Our toilet didn't work so we had to use the one in the hall, we did get £10 off but it was a pain during the night.
The location away from it all in the lovely countryside
Pet friendly Gluten free meals Cosy bar Very comfortable bed in room with stunning view Breakfast
Breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant food was very very good also. Lots of character with the locals coming into the pub so you get a flavour of the local life. Breakfast service by the young women was excellent.
Internet in the annex was quite intermittent. Room service charge is a bit too high given that it takes only a minute to deliver.
We enjoyed the listed building, the room, the food, the friendly staff and the open fire.
The total price too expensive.
The food was of a good standard. The staff were pleasant.
Our room was not one advertised on the website. We found it to be rather depressing! We stayed in room 7
Location and building, old place but smart.
