The room was ideal for our needs and was complimented by the staff and ambience of the Inn.
Food was excellent
Not bad for the price but small cheep fixes in the room had just been left, chips in the bath, cables hanging on outside of the window etc!
Room needs some tlc
easy parking beside Inn very warm welcome roaring fire in the saloon bar brilliant views from the bedroom great attitude to dog hearty breakfast
Amazing food and lovely location. Highly recommend.
We had a fabulous room with a Sitting room just needed a fire and it would be perfect.
A little bit isolated in the winter months. Would be perfect on the summer.
Beautiful location, comfy beds and warm room. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Our toilet didn't work so we had to use the one in the hall, we did get £10 off but it was a pain during the night.
The location away from it all in the lovely countryside
Pet friendly Gluten free meals Cosy bar Very comfortable bed in room with stunning view Breakfast
Breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant food was very very good also. Lots of character with the locals coming into the pub so you get a flavour of the local life. Breakfast service by the young women was excellent.
Internet in the annex was quite intermittent. Room service charge is a bit too high given that it takes only a minute to deliver.
We enjoyed the listed building, the room, the food, the friendly staff and the open fire.
The total price too expensive.
The food was of a good standard. The staff were pleasant.
Our room was not one advertised on the website. We found it to be rather depressing! We stayed in room 7
Location and building, old place but smart.
Ambience and personal service of owner
Poor quality restaurant meal and service
The Amberley Inn is in a great location, our room was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly. Great breakfast with good local produce.
Dinner was a disappointment, menu lacked imagination and dishes needed sauces to make them complete. Room not serviced and no real apology, had to ask for reduction from final bill.
Excellent food, warm welcome
Room in annex a little small but OK for one night. Would prefer rooms in main hotel which we understand are bigger but perfectly OK for one night.
Beautufully positioned hotel, ideal for our break. Large bedroom, double aspect. Good food, the ambiance was excellent. The place was clean and well looked after.
Shower could have been better
Efficient and friendly staff.Very good food.
Our room was a bit disappointing especially the bathroom - difficult for the elderly to shower by stepping into the bath.
Tastefully refurbished, good food
Warm welcome by owners Choice of sitting and eating areas Comfortable bedroom Genuinely dog-friendly Outstanding english breakfast Local beers Friendly local staff Great value for money
Truly, nothing to dislike. Just be aware that a minor road runs between the front door and most of the parking spaces - not a noise issue, but at "rush hour" traffic can be quite fast, and might disconcert people unsteady on their feet or with heavy bags.
We stayed in room 2, a large luxurious room, with the 4 poster bed and with dual aspect windows over the valley. The room was spotlessly clean as was the large bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and loved the marshmallow duvet, the joys of luxury. The breakfast was fantastic, fresh cooked with local ingredients as was the evening meal with a variety on the menu. The area is amazing, fantastic views and walks, loved the 'wild' free range cows on the common. Would most definitely come here again.
Nothing, everything was perfect
The owners, the rooms, the food
Not being able to open the front window of our room
Warm cosy atmosphere with good menu and very enjoyable food .
Beutiful area, lovely food, very enjoyable couple of days.
