This historic Gothic mansion sits in tranquil parkland on the Cotswold Edge, beside the Severn Valley and close to Bristol. It offers fine dining, a leisure club, and spacious, traditional rooms.

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company!

Bedrooms small, but OK except one room did not have a wardrobe only hooks to hang your clothes
Excellent food, all locally sourced.
Very nice room, excellent service and a really good breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
Food good Staff attentive
Room location!! no assistance offered for help with luggage. No wardrobe to hang clothes properly, poor drawers. No hooks on door in bathroom No handle on bath Headroom too low ? Instructions re fire on back of bedroom door! Where is emergency exit for guests on top floor in cottage?
all was fine.
The room The breakfast
You need your own transport. Inn at the top of steep hill
Great location for scenery, the owners Trevor and Jane are most welcoming. The staff are very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good, both the breakfast and evening meals, with a good selection, most of which is sourced locally. We would certainly return, and thoroughly recommend a visit.
Location, Bed , Bar , Ambiance , Food
The dinner portions could have been larger but perhaps that's me being greedy
The room was adequate but such small shower and bed only double. Breakfast was nice but did not get what we ordered
Our English breakfast did not include the elements we asked for . I over heard others in dining room having similar issue
We stayed in the newly renovated cottage in the garden - a charming and comfortable suite with separate sitting room, double bedroom and en suite bathroom. wish we had stayed for more than one night. Breakfast and dinner very good and at sensible price. Would like to stay here again......
Quiet location, rustic charm of building, comfortable and not cramped. Good local bitter on tap. Tasty breakfast choices.Friendly staff.Four poster bed
Parking across road -road can be a bit busy with limited view so care needed. Old world plumbing in bathroom, but adequate for overnight stay.
The friendly welcome was great, we were shown a couple of lovely rooms and given a choice! The beer was good and the breakfast was very nice with a great choice. We didn't have dinner here but when we saw the menu we wished we had.
This a work in progress and some of the rooms are tired but the views from those at the front make up for it.
Comfortable room - lovely location and excellent food
Shower in room difficult to control
The views are stunning and the village is lovely
The room for the price paid was poor and the noise from the road is loud.
Location.Food excellent. Lovely garden to relax in. Very dog friendly.
Location was delightful although some May not appreciate it being right on the road and up a hill. Room was comfortable and everything we needed. Staff attentive but not 'in your face'. Breakfasts very good.
Hotel is right on a junction and although it is countryside there is traffic until about 11 pm and from about 7 am. Windows are single glazed beautiful historic stone window frames so do not insulate from road noise.
Very polite and friendly service. Good room/suite in cottage near to main building overlooking pleasant garden. Good choice of food. Well prepared breakfast.
The staff were very welcoming, the food was delicious and the new decoration of the rooms is lovely.
The setting in the Cotswolds was beautiful, the property is very relaxing and the service was very attentive. We were in a ground floor suite on the grounds behind the inn with garden views and our son had a premium room overlooking the valley. We enjoyed the breakfasts and service was very good.
Upstairs guests were noisy and not very considerate - Our shower door creaked loudly and would wake the neighbors.
Restaurant food, service & ambiance was fantastic & excellent value
Bathroom a bit old fashioned
Having to carry suite cases up stairs
Wonderful location - great view, comfortable room, friendly staff, excellent food.
Provided a converter without cost. Very friendly owner
Bed was the best most comfy I have ever slept in.
