Easy to get into manchester
For only £60 I had a quality clean room on valentines with TV excellent staff and nice size room.
Wifi didn't work and the door was broken.
It was close to where we wanted to be.
Very basic, noisy neighbours picking up a skip at 6 am very small tv no spare pillows. £60 seemed expensive, it ought to have included breakfast.
The bed was extremely UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!!!
5 minute walk to Metrolonk. Not far off Motorways. Close to my destinations - Old Trafford and AJ Bell stadia.
Smelled badly, guests kicking doors at 2am in the morning due to alcohol , heating in room ES very poor
Distance from my event the following day
Very shabby, very unhelpful and impolite receptionist, threadbare carpets, poorly lit corridors, musty smell in corridors, 1st room: no phone, no tv remote, no kettle, one very flat musty smelling pillow trudged back to reception (no phone to call) was given a remote - wrong make so didn't work, had to trudge back to reception, a man came and moved me to another room, TV still didn't work, but at least there was a phone so I could call them, they were very reluctant to help but the man did come back and sort out the TV for me. Could not turn heating down but due to the pretty unhelpful attitude of the Receptionist I just put up with it. Definitely would not recommend this hotel
Nice location for the Trafford Centre Staff polite and helpful Room very comfortable
Unable to turn off radiator in the room, it got very hot at night, we opened the window but then got the noise from smokers below the window.
Centre of town. And close to old traford
Everything gold for what i needed
We could not sleep vey noise no sound insulation single glass window, heating radiater making noise the bath room dirty & mouldy , Carpit dirty .1 stare rating
Only the Syrian staff was ok.we ask for manager to complain was off on Sunday never contacted untill now. Never recommend it
Cost (would have been over £200 to stay in Manchester and the tram takes about 10 mins or so to get in, so no contest), location near Metrolink, comfortable bed, loads of hot water, warm room, friendly staff. It was a basic room but for the price it was better than expected.
Plug did not fit in sink (so shaving was a bit more awkward) and the person who was banging on doors early on sunday morning
No toilet paper in the room. Asked @reception for some was told they would bring some up. Never got any except for a tiny bit that the receptionist found under the desk!!Restaurant closed on a Saturday night. Could only have bar food between 6.30pm & 8 pm because the chef was going to church!! No breakfast was included even when the room cost £80 a night. Dated and tired hotel & very over priced
Good location, free parking, spacious rooms and bathrooms
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed with thick duvet. Shower was hot and powerful. Great as a place to crash with my mate on a boozy weekend.
It's all just a bit tatty. It seemed like a hostel for the homeless when walking through the maze of corridors. The worst thing was the smell of cigarette smoke that could not be escaped. There's no way the wife would stay there!
Close enough to Manchester, availability, has parking and price
We didn't spend much time at the hotel but nothing stood out as bad
* Shower head was held onto the wall with electrical insulation tape. * Towels had yellow and black marks all over them - Receptionist said some stains don't come out in the was (Throw them away then?!) * Receptionist and a member of bar staff were talking about our complaints in the main hallway (twice!) even after we caught them the first time. * Loud shouting outside the hotel until early hours of the morning * Bed wasn't made up, with hair in the sheets and more
DATED DECORE OLD AND TIRED LOOKING
This hotel was tired and is in desperate need of refurbishment.
Think breakfast should be included in price £10a bit expensive i think
The bar made was very helpful
The location the evening receptionist was a bit snooty not very welcoming a lot of banging of doors the beds weren't very comfortable
Not fit for purpose
Everything OK, Bar and reception staff friendly and efficient. Room basic but comfortable.
Not very well lite, easy to pass on the main road.
Toilet seat was broken, Bath panel had multiple cracks Shower pressure was very weak
I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE AMBLEHURST ESPECIALLY THE BATHROOM AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS OR ANYONE WHO ASKED WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN SALE?
