The friendly staff, good food

good size quite room clean and comfortable. Reception was welcoming staff pleasant.

Decor of room needs renervation and brightening up. Needs to offer good restrurant menu for evening meals. Dead flowers on the table.

bar, restaurant, cleanliness, poor washing facilities, ie broken taps and poor decor. dirty walls and floors, playing dice in bars, no customers in bars or restaurant. car park needs a good tidy as do back areas and the whole place needs some investment and looks and feels run down.

This Hotel badly needs renovation, a poor mans Premiere Inn , decor is tired, I could feel every spring in the beds( tried both) still stinks of stale tobacco, breakfast was poor standard and I would not stay here again

The rooms were comfortable and bar was friendly.

Very unhappy that staff insisted on taking credit/debit card details, because details were handwritten and not swiped. Details included the long number and also the 3 security digits on the back of the card. We were assured that the details would be given back on leaving after payment made. However, when the handwritten paper was asked for, on departure, we were informed it was in the Manager's office and could not be returned. We regard this as unacceptable. We intend to make a more formal complaint to the relevant ombudsman in the New Year.

Where to start to room smelled of fags. Room design is dated and old fashioned. Tv really small. Only supplied with one larage and one small bath towel when there was two of use. Regards the conduct of other people staying in the hotel was a disgrace kept us up all night by drunken people and were arguing in the corriodoor all night slamming doors screaming and bagging all night. All in all a crap hotel would not stay there if you paid me

Mamhet the bar tender/night porter. He was the only likeable thing.

Shambles on arrival - wrong booking form and the need to repeat details. Room not ready until 2pm (arrived 11.30am) so returned at 2pm. Room still not ready! Revolting quilt (room 101). Small room. No hand soap. Heater not working and cold room. No hot water in shower. Had to wrap in towel and go across to 106!!!!!! Noisy late night drinkers underneath our window.

Nice warm feeling when you walk in,friendly helpful staff and clean room.

My room it's was dated. Black wardrobes dirty carpet, red bedding and bright yellow carpet :/ the tap in the bathroom was broken also

The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the cost was very reasonable.

Room too hot, tv was tiny.

Information about timing for breakfast was not given, breakfast was served on Sunday at 9:45am only. I was not advised of this during my stay nor was the information in the room. When I turned up for breakfast at 10:00am I was refused. The lounge bar area is scruffy and not commensurate with the rest of the hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful but appear to lack training. I arrived for Breakfast at 7.00am (advertised time) and the room was not ready. No buffet breakfast except for cereal - no fruit or yogurt available The hotel was a bit shabby and dark - on the dismal side but it was clean and plenty of hot water.

The room was spacious, with good desk space for working. Quiet and friendly. The staff were very helpful.

Being on the main road between Sale and Manchester, finding the entrance, and getting in and out could be a bit tricky. Maybe a more prominent sign on the road might help.

no matress protectors ,no under cases on pillows,actually the pillows were a disgrace!
