it was clean the bedroom
There's no reception
Should AVOID this hotel. I asked the staff to keep my baggage for just 3 hours at reception after checking out. But that staff refused my request. I needed to attend a football game in Tottenham, so I couldn't bring my big suitcase. That is why I asked the hotel to keep my bag just 3 hours. But strangely he started to shout "You checked out. That is it. Goodbye. Get out from here ! GO! GO!", stabbing a finger toward me. Finally he threw away my suitcase to street. I couldn't believe it. His behaviour is very disrespectful and unacceptable. Crazy guy. Cheap price but the service is rubbish.
-The manager was very friendly and talkative -The kitchen was clean and well-equipped -Security
-Light was a bit dim in the room -A bit smell for the beds though they looked clean and hygienic -No light on the way to kitchen at night
Clean, bathroom recently upgraded and good
There is parking but can easily get blocked in as not enough spaces for all residents. Poor soundproofing
Kitchen and dining
Comfy bed tv in my room
Noisy fridge kept me awake in my room, filthy glasses and cups for making drinks in the room, took my money upon arrival and showed me to my room and said leave the key on side in the morning no enjoy your stay nothing, room was bare no lamps nothing dirty carpet. Didnt slee well.
The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. We were given an upgrade to a room with bathroom on arrival. Big garden at the back which we didn't use but was available to us if we did. A bonus in London. Car parking space outside.
The walls are a bit thin - we could hear the conversation next door!
A very friendly welcome after a long day. I really liked the kitchen and the garden because you could meet other guests. Clean and tidy
Quite a lot of noise coming from the road
A separate kitchen. Landlord is very nice.
triple room is a semi-basement. Subway station is a little bit far, but we can get there by bus.
Absolute value for money. Extremely clean room and fresh towels etc provided. Quite at nights in and around the area. B&B manager was a sound bloke, never got his name but he's the welsh guy. Over all, 10/10 for me and my girlfriend and were a young couple. Great spot! We'll be back. Mark and Stephanie.
Honestly could'nt fault anything to do with the place or staff.
not much to like. towels were clean and fresh.
miserable person who "welcomed" us. room ok very basic. 2 ups in a 4 person room. no toiletries but it did say this on booking. beds very rough bedding not much better .
Cleanliness was poor. Doors constantly banging. Rooms require updating and repairing.
Maybe the location.
The hospitality, service was awful. The doorman was drunk, agressive and impolite. Scared about staying there over the night. Talked to manager, didn't seem to care about customers opinion and time spent there and didn't mind even a bit finiding solutions about our bad experience. I would not recomend.
Located in a quite area
We booked Amhurst because of the cheap price and its location near to Fimsbury Park. For us it was perfect and allowed us to return from a festival within walking distance (saving money) and get into a comfy, good room.
The walls are fairly thin so if people are rowdy you can hear it. But it really did not effect us very much at all.
We arrived with misgivings given some of the reviews but found it good. Beds were comfy, shops nearby and had a functional kitchen. Jug and sink in room was helpful. Backyard could be a bit spruced up but that is nothing. Staff friendly and room was quiet. No hesitation in recommending it.
Could have been more clean however it's a shared accommodation with people living there
They let us have the room a bit early, very good value for money, off street parking in front of building
Closed to public access which was a bit off-putting but the manager / owner was efficient once we got into the rather stark building. Very basic condition / small room but had all the specified facilities. Wifi passcode didn't work but we didn't chase it up as we had G3 access.
The friendliness of the staff and their recognition that we could not climb stairs so moved us to a room on the ground floor. Also the owner stood "guard" on a parking space opposite the building as their car park was fool. I also thought the room was well laid out and comfortable.
Positions of the toilet. Not convenient.
Very friendly and helpful staff, so welcoming and eager to help sort out the change I needed for my booking. Found bathroom, kitchen and all facilities clean and tidy throughout my stay. Lovely garden with picnic benches to rear of house. As there's free parking, will consider driving in for my next stay there.
Cosy hotel with a kitchen and garden Fridge in the room. Friendly staff.
Only burning hot water coming from the shower. Had to wash my hair in the sink instead.
Off road parking. Helpful staff.
Overpriced at £35 for just a basic room with shared facilities and no offer to purchase breakfast. It might have been available but it wasnt communicated to me. Should have been around £20 -25.00
The staff that attended to me was on professional
The way he handle me and my guest I was embarrassed
