Location to the walled city centre was superb. The owner/host was extremely helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast. Quite large bathroom/ensuite.

Room was on the small side with limited ventilation. Could have been an issue if weather was warmer.

We liked everything about this B&B!! Joan is a great hostess and an amazing ambassador for her city, and frankly was more informative than Tourist Information. She made us feel so welcome and at home, filled us up with delicious breakfasts and gave us great tips on what to see and where to eat. She shared stories of her childhood in Derry, and helped us understand some of the history of The Troubles. Our room was spacious and clean, and we were very comfortable. The B&B is in a great location to visit the murals and the Free Derry Museum, and is a quick walk to the walled city and access to the other attractions closer to the river. Definitely a great place to stay in Derry!!!

The neighbourhood can get a bit loud on weekend evenings, but closing the windows did the trick...and it is certainly not a reason not to stay here.

The staff could not be more helpful. They make you feel very welcome. I was staying there after an atlantic crossing and they joined in celebrating my passage. There is no other place i would stay in Derry: Viva Amore!

This is a small (3 rooms) B&B and we had a huge room. Our host, Joan, eased any concerns we might have about being in Derry on 12th July. Told us where to go and not to go if we were concerned. Very close to the walls. Beautiful breakfast. Joan was fantastic.

Not easy to locate B and B without a GPS.

Hosts very helpful & very friendly indeed. Location not immediately attractive, but actually ideal for exploring Londonderry on foot and adjacent to major historic sites from 1970s & 1980s. Our stay was memorable, and we appreciated our time there greatly.

The couple running the Amore are wonderful people & the location is perfect - quiet location slightly off a main street though still right near the center of town for easy walking right into the walled part of the city and everything right around it.

Parking is on busy streets and is difficult during the day.
