Staff were friendly, the room was nice clean and comfortable, loved the ensuite shower room. Bed was abit squeaky over all good value for money
Parking bit of a mare !
We had a great time, the staff were fantastic, room was lovely and cleaned every day with fresh towels each day. Fab location.
Position and staff
Size of room, poor bathroom, very tired building, stale smell, outdated facilities, stuffy room, view through windows to very dirty buildings
Great location with a good outside seating area and bar. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean comfortable and well equips. We had a sea view room and had a great view of the pier .
There was noise from the nearby club one night but it is possible to ask for a quiet room.
Good location. Nice breakfast Clean rooms Friendly staff
Very noisy first night from party outside until after 3am - reminded me of real Amsterdam! Bit annoying for me as had early start next morning Very clean but room could have done with redecoration Rather expensive rates for low-frills B&B
location, enthusiasm and kindness of staff, reasonable room size for the price and hotel renovated with taste and care for 'details'. Very pleased with the first floor balcony that also gave a excellent view over promenade , pier and sea.
although, as i was very tiered, it did not bother me to much, the noise outside from 'club' and later an army of cleaners with their vehicles was enormous and lasted till the following mornings.
Lively and friendly!!! Very comfortable room Great sea view excellent location.. All mod cons in the room Very easy going and very friendly staff... Will definitely go back...
The beds were very comfortable and room spacious. Nice and clean and tidy with very nicely fitted wet room. All the staff were friendly and receptionist very helpful on check-in
Reception told us breakfast was served till 10.30, but we arrived just before 10 each morning and were told we had to hurry as selection would start to be removed by 10, so the restaurant could start to prepare for lunch at 11
Central location, staff
Need double glazing to shut out some of the street and seagull noise
Location, outside bar seating area, room with a view
Parking was awfull. Breakfast was minimal Coffee discusting
noisy and no parking facilities
Helpful and professional staff, reasonably priced, fantastic location with the best possible views. Spacious and clean. Great Reception and such enthusiastic help Harry!
Slightly dated decor, but still good standard. If there are events on the terrace it may get a little noisy, but that is why most people are there, and it's not too late.
Good location and friendly staff
Overall cost noise from street double bed in room not very good water pressure in shower and having to pay extra charge for cooked breakfast
The location was excellent as was the breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the mirror in the bathroom was heated. There were plenty of bars and restaurants very close by.
At night there is quite a lot of noise from people leaving bars etc.
Close to the beach Nice comfy rooms Friendly staff
Noisy neighbours! (but then you get that in most hotels)
Location, staff, food, atmosphere... All wonderful
Very friendly and in great place, would stay again
room very small and a bit over priced (it was August bank holiday )
location - very central. Pier and sea view - we stayed in the room with balcony and it was truly a prime location. You can sit down, relax, enjoy your drink/cigarette and watch people, the sea and the hustle and bustle of the pier in your own presence..
EXTREMELY noisy at night - be ready for a sleepless night. Our room was literally on top of the hotel bar and on a Saturday night, LOUD music was on till 3am (from the neighbour bar as well). If you are fussy with your sleep, then SERIOUSLY reconsider your choice! Otherwise, this hotel offers a really nice Brighton experience..
Nice Hotel, friendly staff and in a great location.
Breakfast could have been a little better. Carpet got a few marks.
Location perfect for coach pick up & shopping would have likes sea view.
staff very kind, the room was furnished with a good taste, optimum position, very good breakfast, they accept pets.... very good hotel
that carpet was really full of stain and the shower is not a shower in the common sense of this term but a nozzle showing up from a wall of the toilet which was 1,5 x 2 m wide
The staff were great and the beds were really comfortable.
The staff were lovely welcoming and so helpful
Staff very helpfull and friendly spoke to us as if we were old friends close to pier and town very good.
Bathroom could have been designed a little better not a lot of room to sit on the throne otherwise ok
£150 for a box room, filthy carpets which I could not put my feet down on for fear of what was in the carpet, awful view and damp smelly bathroom which was so close to the bed. £150 for the room we were in was daylight robbery. My other friends who paid exactly the same had lovely rooms on the front, no carpet and room was spacious. we were also given a ticket for breakfast which was included in the price and it clearly said breakfast was until 10.30am, I got down at 10.10am and they said all breakfast was put away and should have been down by 10am!! Clearly if that is the case it should be clearly documented on the ticket! Considering the prime location of this hotel, it was a complete let down.
