“Clean and nicely done out. One of the best hotels for the price I'be stayed in”
Martin,
Southam
On a quiet, tree-lined street, The Amsterdam is 1000 ft from Earl's Court London Underground (subway) Station. It has free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk desk for guests to use. The Amsterdam Hotel combines original features with modern comforts. There is a quiet patio garden, and an elevator which goes to every floor of the building. Some rooms look out over the grounds and others look out over the peaceful street. The large suites have seating areas and kitchenettes, and some have their own balconies. The Olympia exhibition center, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum are all less than a mile away. There are pubs, restaurants and movie theaters just a short walk from the hotel. Hotel Rooms: 20 Most recent booking for this hotel was today at 17:54 from United States of America.

The location is convenient and despite being so central, it is quiet in the night so you can get a good night sleep. The hotel was clean which makes life easier. I didn't like the fact, that for special breakfast wishes (I.E. bacon and eggs) orders needed to be placed the day before; I wish someone would have told me. Breakfast (included) therefore was quite poor.

Hotel has excellent location, literally 100m from Tube station with a very large range of all types of restaurants/fast food places within 400m of hotel. Also car hire to airport(30m) and serviced laundrette(100m directly across EarlsCourt Rd down Kenway Rd. We stayed with 2 children,7 and 5 in the 2 bedroom Apt on the 4th floor. We arrived early and staff put our bags in our room for us. They were very helpful for the two nights we were there. Apt was a good size, clean, with a separate lounge and kitchenette, and bedrooms were not too small with hairdryer in each b/room. We thought the hotel was excellent value and not too noisy being so close to the main Rd. We will definitely be back. The heating didn't work as well as it should have on the first night but was addressed for our second night. It may need more regular maintenance. Also the hot water cylinder required the children to have a shower at night with the adults to have theirs in the morning - and make sure they are not long ones 'cos otherwise the second person is going to be unhappy.

The relaxed nature of the building. The close proximity to the Earl's Court tube. The neighborhood. I did not like the way the water accumulated in the small bathroom while taking a shower.

The hotel was very clean, and had good-enough facilities. One member of staff (on reception) was particularly helpful and made us feel welcome. Breakfast facilities were particularly poor. Small dining room, and a shortage of food. Admittedly there were a large number of guests, nevertheless, this facility needs drastic improvement. We would recommend the hotel, but warn potential guests that this was a problem.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room we stayed in was a pleasant surprise- clean, well furnished and comfortable for 4. We were travelling with our 2 teenage sons and another family and we'll definitely stay in Amsterdam Hotel again. The location was also perfect as it was round the corner from the tube station and loads of places to eat and drink as well as shops. We didn't realise we had to order a cooked breakfast in advance (the day before) so the teenagers and dads were a bit disappointed, but the continental breakfast was satisfactory. To be fair though, there was a small notice in the room advising about ordering breakfast but we missed the small print. A bit of a queue to get a table though, as it seemed that most of us guests turned up for breakfast in the last 45 minutes and the dining room couldn't accommodate everyone at the same time. Next time, we'll definitely order a cooked breakfast and go to the dining room a bit earlier!

Great location 100m from Earls Court station. Big room, excellent staff, will definately stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to others wanting to stay in London close to underground and great eateries. Also the price was lower than others places we stayed at. Great value.

I stayed at this hotel 4 times. I like it for location, cleanliness and friendly staff. The hotel has been renovated, the facilities look better and cleaner now. But the best thing about it is certainly very convenient location.

Centrally Located The staff overcharged me for my room. I asked to pay in gbp, but was charged in dollars at an exorbitant exchange rate. I asked to be refunded the overcharge, but was told they "could not refund me the difference". Of course they could! They are more interested in making extra money than the happiness of the customers. I will never stay there again and will steer all my colleagues away.

The location was good - just a two minute walk from Earls Court tube station. The wi-fi internet was really good and convenient. The room was too crammed. Everytime i opened the door to enter the room, and if i had a bag on my shoulder, it was a struggle. The shower did not have an enclosure and this made the bathroom wet and messy.

Very good management. Excellent location. I like the WiFi in the room. Bathtub is big. Breakfast was good. Clean and very quiet. I will definitely recommend to my friends! The only thing I don't like is the sink on the bathroom. I hope it can be bigger.

Very close to the Earls Court tube station and the exhibition center. Lots of good restaurants around. Despite central location, my room (room 6) was facing the garden and could not hear any of the street noise. Room was decent size for a single room (about 10m2). Good breakfast, friendly staff. Will be booking here again. Oh, and loved the free WiFi. First night, the tv only played two channels bbc1 and 2. Digital tv switched on the second night. The doors are heavy and walls are thin, so when your neighbour closes the door, it shuts noisily and shakes the walls.

The staff is super helpful. Location is the major attraction. Breakfast basic but r'easonable. The lift/elevator is very small. It can only accomodate two people at best. Shower curtain does not come all the way to the ground creating a mess in the bathroon. The staff is super helpful. God knows why they have free copies of Daily Mail.

Amsterdam Hotel is an excellent location from Earls Court station, 200 meters/ 1 min walk. Hotel was nice and quite. Everything you request from the staff, they will do their best to accomedate. Our room was spaciuos and clean, and we greatly appreciated that there were other seatings than the beds. Staff was all very friendly and helpfull. All in all a very nice and friendly hotel. Great value for money. The beds could do with a mattress topper. If you go doing summer, it would be nice with a little fridge to keep drinks cool.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, only a ten minute tube ride away from all major attractions and places to see in London! The hotel is surrounded by many good restaurants a stroll away from the room. The rooms are clean, well maintained and comfortable with wifi included a massive bonus! The beds are comfy and in the morning the breakfast is superb with the option of cooked if you require! The staff and hotel in general is a friendly place to be where they accommodated to our every need!
