We had a wonderful holiday here with our four children. The cottage was perfect and comfortable for us! We loved our time there.
we liked the peace the quiet and the comfort
Fantastic little rural cottages, with super friendly and very welcoming staff. Good food in the visitor centre. Highly recommended if you want something a little different but want to stay somewhere close to Omagh or Cookstown.
It was a gorgeous cottage - very warm and cosy. Lovely setting and very welcoming staff who were very generous and accommodating. Highly recommend.
This is a small one bed cottage, so layout is not quite as it would be in a more genourously sized living room. Small tv, we pulled it out from corner. We missed a hoover, although sweeping brush was fine for the flagged floor, the rug needed hoovering after second day. Need more baking trays, we had to manage with the grill tray alone which wasnt really adequate, so it was a bit of a juggle. Frying pans were terrible and need replacing (bring your own, I will next time!)
Single mum travelling with 8yr old son. We booked this on price alone not knowing what to expect, (£182 for oct half term one bed cottage) but it was perfect. Location itself is between cookstown and Omagh, 15 miles to each. Good supermarkets at each town. One hr to Derry one and half to Giants causeway. There are woodland walk just outside the doorstep of the cottage, there is well priced food in the visitors centre, but we only self catered so cant comment on quality etc. These cottages were super warm and cosy, even having a wood pellet stove that we only used once as the ch was more than adequate. Good shower over bath. Very comfy bed with lovely crisp cotton sheets, activities for the children for halloween ran by lovely young men. For the money we paid I was delighted and my grumbles are really very minor and not picky....I Will definitely return to these cottages with my young son again. Outstanding value for money.
Excellent location and value for money.
