The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent value for money.

The seating outside the pub was to close to the road.

Black pudding, Excellent breakfast.

Room 7 location compared with main block rooms.

Staff were incredibly friendly and very happy to go out of their way to help. lovely clean and spacious room.

The noise from the restaurant kept me awake.

Food is excellent for the price especially dinner menu.

Everything first rate. Superb food, lovely room. Booked VERY late only fifteen minutes before check in, and got a great deal.Have paid a lot more for much less.

Like the welcome, the friendly staff, very helpful, loved the food, breakfast super, lunch on Sunday - best meal I have had for a long time, scallops and banana parfait - yum. Room very comfortable everything in you need, particulary pleased with dressing gown.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location for hill walking and off-road running. Food was excellent. Clean and comfortable country inn.

We were delighted with the Tormaukin. Placed in superb countryside, quiet but with every facility we wanted and very good value for money. Many a more expensive hotel could learn from breakfast menu!

The whole experience from check in, right the way through to evening meal and breakfast was very relaxed and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the food was excellent this hotel was a gem to find.

This is a fantastic place, one of the best we've stayed at. Staff were friendly, rooms spacious, food excellent and breakfast superb. There is countryside on the doorstep and cities within easy driving distance. A great location for exploring and experiencing Scotland at its best. Must be a score of 11/10.

First class hotel, having worked away from home for over thirty years this hotel is by far one of the very best I have stayed in. Fantastic staff, superb room, excellent food and all at a great price. Doesn't get any better!

Amazing location, Hotel great traditional / old look on the outside & in, great food & great atmosphere.

Didn't have fillet steak on the menu which as a surprise & the sirlion steak was a bit thin but appreciate price did match this - would have paid a few more pounds for a proper thick sirlion. Shower looks great but actual flow not so - need to look at power showers or better hot water supply / flow.

Food was wonderful, choice of menu, presentation & taste to the highest of standards, yet not over the top on price. Breakfast as good if not better than anywhere I have stayed. Ambience in the dining area & main hotel cosy & well maintained

Rooms adequate enough but would have benefitted from better shower (appreciate given location perhaps more difficult to achieve) & despite free view would have liked sky.
