Incredibly friendly staff, clean rooms and some of the best food I've had in a long time.

The whole experience from check in, right the way through to evening meal and breakfast was very relaxed and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the food was excellent this hotel was a gem to find.

We liked the food the room was comfy all the staff where friendly.

This is a fantastic place, one of the best we've stayed at. Staff were friendly, rooms spacious, food excellent and breakfast superb. There is countryside on the doorstep and cities within easy driving distance. A great location for exploring and experiencing Scotland at its best. Must be a score of 11/10.

First class hotel, having worked away from home for over thirty years this hotel is by far one of the very best I have stayed in. Fantastic staff, superb room, excellent food and all at a great price. Doesn't get any better!

Amazing location, Hotel great traditional / old look on the outside & in, great food & great atmosphere.

Didn't have fillet steak on the menu which as a surprise & the sirlion steak was a bit thin but appreciate price did match this - would have paid a few more pounds for a proper thick sirlion. Shower looks great but actual flow not so - need to look at power showers or better hot water supply / flow.

Food was wonderful, choice of menu, presentation & taste to the highest of standards, yet not over the top on price. Breakfast as good if not better than anywhere I have stayed. Ambience in the dining area & main hotel cosy & well maintained

Rooms adequate enough but would have benefitted from better shower (appreciate given location perhaps more difficult to achieve) & despite free view would have liked sky.

Cosy atmosphere and log fires in bar and breakfast room, amazing breakfast buffet selection, location - so close to ochil hills, price - much cheaper than other guest houses/b&bs in the area, staff - all very friendly, food - fantastic dinner menu.

Shower was very tempermental, unless kept tepid tended to spontaneously vary between burning and freezing.

The hotel is in a quiet peaceful rural setting with opportunities for countryside walking and within easy reach of Stirling and Perth. The staff are superb --very professional and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble to them to make your stay the best possible. The food is excellent both at breakfast and in the restaurant. A great place to stay.

Relaxed atmosphere in a quiet location

Although we found the food to be excellent, we had one poor main course one evening. Our complaint, however, was dealt with in a professional and satisfactory manner.

Staff and atmosphere warm and friendly. We parked our camper in the ample car park and soon our bed was decorated with lovely camper van cushions! Food excellent for both dinner and breakfast.

Authentic log fires in keeping with location. Everything on menu was available both at dinner and breakfast.

Bedroom No8 You had to get out of bed to switch lights off or on.

Value for money and excellent breakfast. Good sized room.

Shower pressure poor and window looked into restaurant but value for money outweighs these minor issues.

Food excellent, beds very comfortable, accommodated extra bed in room

Little details could be better - eg. Windows were draughty and made room cold at times, lights flickering, clock did not work in room, way waitress handled issue over older child being allowed to have wine at dinner

Can't think of anything. Would of loved to of stayed longer.

Great Food

10 out of 10 for this hotel. The staff were friendly. The rooms super clean. The best value for money I had in a long time. I will definitely recommend this place
