Margaret the owner was so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and breakfast in the morning.
Comfy bed. Good breakfast. Quietness at night. Central.
Brilliant location and very clean.
Due to recent refurbishment bathroom was excellent. Bed linen clean.
Breakfast poor. Seemed like it was cooked the night before. Beans minced up. no papers no recreational area. Bedroom very small. Eat your breakfast and go attitude. 2 night stay, first afternoon we left room about 1 pm. Had to ask for towels to be changed that evening room not tidied. Reason given "we do cleaning mornings. If you're still in the room you don't get attention" Second and final day check out 11am. Running late, door knocked 11.10 Brash comment Don't you know you're supposed to check out at 11. This place wasn't busy, think only one other quest beside us. 11.30 to reception. Comment "you two like your beds". "Right who's paying for this" before we even got to the counter. Attitude very poor.
Close to the harbour and a big parking place.
The WiFi was really a bit poor at the room where we stayed. It's the only thing to mention here.
Clean and basic but too expensive for the room just under 100 euro for a night in a b and b but it was a last minute booking so cant complain too much land lady was very nice no complaints there
The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and cozy.
Unfortunately we arrived at a bad time for us It was the weekend of the big air show. Traffic was horrendous and made parking difficult.
Cleanliness Good breakfast
View from room No wifi
it had room availability when I booked last minute clean
expensive for the standard of the room breakfast was low quality
Shower was too small

The owner of an uladgh was very friendly and welcoming, would defo reccomend this b+b to anyone who is just looking to get away for a few days. Very close to the train station! :)
We had a lovely stay at An Uladh. Its close to all the facilities and having a young girl with us this was ideal. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Would definitely go there again.
The location. We got straight off the train at Portrush Station from Lisburn. It was bucketing with rain. It was so nice to be able to dander just across the street to the guest house. Great! After being shown to our rooms which were very clean, we freshened up and set off out. You literally are bang in the heart of Portrush with the famous Barry's Amusements just around the corner. I had a fry for breakfast which was dead on and the other 3 members of the family got what they ordered, from scrambled eggs to cereal, orange juice, tea and coffee.
There was nothing I could say that I did not like about staying here.
Simply the fact that it is located in Portrush near our relatives. Convenience only.
Its appearance is quite "seedy" needing new carpeting which would make a huge difference. It was apparent that recent painting had been done so it looked fresh in that regard, but the décor overall was lacking for sure. The towels furnished were threadbare and asking for wash cloths was apparently out of the question as I was told that, "we don't supply wash cloths". Also the building was very cold and damp upon arrival and we asked for some heat which was also greeted with exception. We did have heat eventually.
Read other reviews and could not believe what they said when we met the owner who could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We only spent 1 night but wish it had been longer. Excellent location great breakfast. we will be back.
Friendly and accommodating staff. excellent breakfasts comfortable, clean room beautiful crisp bed sheets
The staff, the food, the room. Also the view.
The place was charming but the carpet could use updating and carried many smells of cigarettes
Non-availability of Wifi in the family room. Tiny bathroom. Washbasin outside the tiny bathroom.
I was very impressed, staff were so friendly, rooms were extremely spotless. I can't fault the place at all and would definitely recommend this to everyone
I cannot find fault with this accommodation
