The staff were excellent. It was well positioned and very clean
The bathroom was very small. If we had been larger people, it could have been challenging!
A wonderful hotel run by professional and friendly staff. After poor to average hospitality and accommodation in Scotland, this was a welcome relief. The facilities are first class. Would recommend the Anchor without hesitation
Comfortable room. Excellent food. Peaceful room with view. Friendly, helpful staff - what more can you ask for?.
Stairs to rooms - no lift.
Staff were really helpful and friendly. the meal we had, was fantastic and very well priced. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Will stay here again if we are back in Tarbert.
Very good restaurant; Rooms are very clean; Good location;
Friendly staff and excellent food. The room was clean and tidy and felt very comfortable. Great view to the anchorage.
Our visit was on a weekend and the neighbouring bar was very loud until around 1:30 am. It's not the hotel's fault but it was a bit difficult for us, especially after the long drive we had.
A modern forward looking hotel which delivers an excellence stay for all. Friendly staff were outstanding. Restaurant +++++ star.
The location was excellent & central and looked onto the harbour. The rooms were clean modern and comfortable with free hair dryer and iron. The staff were very helpful & pleasant and the breakfast was excellent
The price was expensive but I suppose you pay for what you get

Such a perfect location, our room overlooked the harbour, so pretty. Décor beautiful. Restaurant first class. Could not fault it.
Very comfortable beds, lovely food, very clean and a beautiful location.
The Midges. Drinks a little pricey.
The service, the room, the location not far from Kennacraig (for those who plan to go to Islay). The management apologised and offered a discount on the price of the room as a compensation of a problem with the linen.
The linen were not clean, and the cleaning lady did not replace them despite my request, but the management apologised and offered a discount on the price of the room as a compensation.
A newly renovated small hotel with all the usual amenities finished to a good standard. The food was lovely and there was lot's of it! Excellent location and welcoming stay.
Comfortable room beautifully decorated with lovely harbour view. Evening meal excellent
They need to change stair carpet, badly stained and gives poor impression unlike very clean and smart appearance of rest of hotel. Was like that when we stayed 2 years ago ! Pillows and mattress too hard for our tastes.
