we liked how clean and well kept of the hotel inside and out , the decor was really beautiful loved the colour scheme in da bedrooms ,the beds where really comfortable + the bedrooms where a good size for 2 people. The hotel was situated in a good place as we were close to the shops and the prominade . the welcome was pleasant and very helpful . the breakfast was good on the first morning . have to say that any problems that we had where dealt with by a lovely girl and regret not asking her name ! we didnt like the fact that there was nowhere to park our car which left us worrying if our car would be ok and when we did arrive it took us almost 30mins to try and find a car space !! At breakfast on our second mornin was'nt good at all ,service was terrible ,our coffee was cold ,we ask for hot coffee and got luke warm twice didn't like to ask again as the young girl was'nt very pleasant and was tellin her colleague that she had been up from 6.30 and made sure we heard wot she was saying !! in other words dont ask me to do anything !! We decided to eat in the restaurant the first night we stayed and boy o boy was that a wrong descision ....we waited 2hrs for a 2 course meal !! never again and when we got it my chicken goujouns where luke warm ,we didnt send them back because we where 2 hungary and thought it would take way 2 long 2 get them bak !! sorry but if we ever stay again we would'nt be eatin in the restuarant !! in ur question below if we would recommend it ...yes for stayin the night but sorry not the food !!

The noise from the disco was awful and they actually supply you with ear plugs in all bedrooms!!! The pictures of the bedrooms on the website are nothing like the room 105. Every morning you can hear doors from other guests rooms banging as they go down to breakfast-which isnt much either!!! if you are going to stay here you need to be staying in the businees suite as they must be the nice rooms and they are on the next floor which may mean you may noy hear the disco as loud.

Excellent all round this was my third time staying here and had a wonderful time . Right in the centre of the small costal village of Portstewart, lovely bars and restuarants near by (as well as the Anchor which was lovely) 3 miles to Portrush and a lovely costal walk. Must say thanks to the breakfast girls who were so happy and made my day. Great entertainment in the evening (we stayed on a Wed and Thurs night) Quiz on the Wed night and a lovely wee Irish Traditional night on the Thurs.Would recommend for a few days away Nothing at all. Lovely atmosphere and a real pleasure to be staying there

The Staff and the hotel were excellent and catered for all our needs. The staff were cheerful, attentative and extremely helpful and we cannot praise them enough. In fact they went out of their way to help to make our stay a memorable one. We would definately go back and stay there and would recommend it to others.

The hotel was kept nice and clean. The bed was comfy. The room had tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly. The hotel itself was fine, the room etc clean and well maintained, but if I could improve anything it would be the food. In the bar, it was hard to find the fish beneath all the batter. The breakfast was nice, but too greasy.

Very well located for access to the north coastal area and to Coleraine town where I had to attend a late evening meeting. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The adjacent Anchor Bar was a good spot for our evening meal with a choice of reasonably priced Dine & Wine options. Our menu selections were very well presented, tasty and enjoyable. The coal fire was an added bonus. On the morning of our departure the inclusive breakfast provided in the room price set us up for the day. The underfloor heating was very effective and our room was just too warm for our liking which meant having to keep the windown open. There was a taxi rank located directly below our room and at about 02:00 hours we were awoken by a young 'lady' in the street having a conversation with her friend. Otherwise no complaints.

At the busy end of the promenade, close to shops, take aways, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The room was cosy and clean, with an extremely comfy bed. Good reception on tv signal. There was also a nice bar attached that serves great food both lunch and dinner.

The roOm was fabulous! The bed was huge and the room was spotless! There was supposed to be wifi in the room but I was unable to pick it up, it was the same the last time I stayed. Breakfast was well above par and the staff were exceptional! I love staying in the anchor! The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't pick up wifi in the bedroom, meanin I has to wait until breakfast to quickly write my report before my meeting with the university, but it wasn't that big of a deal! O! And at nigt when u have to go outside to smoke they close the doors! Which meant my mother and I had to go through the busy club to get back to the hotel! Not good when ur in ur pjs and a coat :d

ThIs hotel went beyond my expectations, the room was large and airey, the beds were unbelievably comfortable, the best we have ever slept in! Breakfast is an Ulster fry not a full English as described(this hotel is in Ulster after all lol)and is ample. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant which later becomes part of the nightclub which had a live band playing on both nights we stayed.
