This BB was ideally situated, the view from the bedroom through the open french windows was fantastic. It was a short drive to the port and to the town. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful.and chatted like we'd known each other for years. Will definitely stay again.

We had a late ferry crossing and so missed the car rental. The owners were amazing at helping us out. They were heading out of town the next morning, but they set us up at another inn in town for the following night and gave us a ride. Anchors Rest was clean and beautiful waterfront property. The breakfast was excellent and they accommodated my wife's gluten intolerance. They were some of the nicest people we met on our vacation, and that says a lot. They went above and beyond in our stay there.

Friendly, helpful owners, large comfy room with superb view & great en-suite. Great location on the estuary; Quiet spot, but near Cleddau Bridge, so can reach anywhere in South Pembrokeshire quickly & easily.

Nothing, really. (TV could be better?)

Anchors Rest is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast for those that want to be surrounded by a peaceful and tranquil environment. After a hot day journey, arriving at the Anchors Rest was a pure blessing! Our hosts, Belinda and Brian, greeted us right on their backyard where they immediately offered us a refreshing drink with sweet cakes and asked us to sit down, relax a bit and enjoy the beautiful river view. We stayed there for two nights. Both of the rooms we had reserved were spacious and to our great surprise located right across the river. Each room was beautiful decorated with fresh flowers on the tables. The view in the master room was breathtaking! Walking into the master room gave you the sense of being in paradise! Our bathroom gave you the impression that you were traveling in a very elegant cruise ship surrounded by the soft colors of the sea, a starfish and a glass window with the image of a sailboat in motion. As for the breakfast, both mornings were fantastic! The local strawberries were very tasty and Belinda’s mom homemade jam was simply the best! Something that really touched me the most of staying at this B&B was the special service that all my family received during the stay. In particular, being gluten intolerance, it was very thoughtful of Belinda to have a loaf of local gluten free bread for me. Because of our long journey, we had no time to arrange for dinner reservations in the area. Nevertheless, Belinda and Brian managed to arrange one for us immediately at a wonderful restaurant located nearby the Marina, in fact, one of the best ones located in the area! Each of the breakfast was delicious Thanks Belinda and Brian for the warm welcome and great hospitality! And, to all the travelers out there,

Nothing to dislike; the place is perfect! A home away from home.
