Good location, friendly and afficient staff and management, good food and a good bar

No shower in our particular room (good sized bath but no shower)

The hotel is on a main road and tends to be very noisy from the traffic .

Breakfast was superb & hot, and the management and staff were helpful. Friendly atmosphere and pleasant decor.

The shower was without doubt the slowest I've ever used and needs sorting and I'm sure it will be because they listen.

so close to the A10 - the noise was teribble at night! no double glazing, outside flood light was on all night; shower with very low pressure and either very hot or cold.

The wifi is poor signal and strength and intermittently working and virtually no orange/mobile signal so couldn't do any work or check emails. The bar food is good quality but fairly basic over 2 nights I was not offered to eat in the separate area or see the other menus which appeared to have a much wider choice of food.

Small family hotel with a small family atmosphere - just what we wanted - friendly hotel with home comfort feel. Great food, great staff, have been before and would definitely go again.

Charging full price for a breakfast of tea (brewed) and 2 slices of toast was eccesive. The mattress in chalet 14 was worn out. I was not aware that some of the accomodation was in chalet type buildings which had not been pre-heated.Understand fully what it is you are booking

Very conveniently placed for the North Norfolk coast. We were on a cycling hoiday and found the hotel very helpful in storing cycles overnight.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good choice. The only downside was the shower. This bathroom is more for a person who bathes. The shower was relatively low pressure and difficult to adjust.

The delightful interior decor of this family run hotel made you feel as if you were staying with friends in their home. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The selection and quality of food on both bar and a la carte menus was very good. Nice lounge to relax in with well stocked bar.

Excellant location on the A10, the Andel Lodge was a picture perfect country hotel, very friendly will a good and varied menue to copver most tastes. The room was also of a high quality with a brass bed and a very high specification bathroom, breakfast in the morning was again of a high standard, I would recommend to anyone.

My only issue would be that the bathroom of room 4 did not include a shower.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming nothing was too much trouble the chef obliged to cook a meal one evening after the dining times were finished for my Grandson who had been asleep and then woken up.The staff were also knowledgeable on local amenities and roads. The hotel was family friendly with personal photo's and ornaments which gave a cosy feel and not an inpersonal cold feel. Hotel was clean, tea making facilities in each room, television, I cannot fault this hotel.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. The Andel lodge oozes chintz & has a quiet, chilled atmosphere. The accomodation is quaintly set out in a verandaed ground floor situation with little picnic benches outside each door & you can park right outside - which gives it an almost American motel feel, even though it is distinctly English.

Breakfast very good except for the sausages, which were lucky bags!
