Not a lot to like unfortunately. Breakfast staff very helpful.
I certainly wouldn't stay here again. The only staff that were very helpful was the breakfast staff (well done to them) Other staff were not at all helpful or inviting.
Very hard to find, and staff could not give very clear directions. Bedroom clean but rather tired-looking, and with broken floorboards under carpet. Only half an hour into the breakfast period, the food and coffee were half-cold.
That it was clean and very hospitable.
Just one niggle, through the night it was very noisy as though the walls were made of cardboard.
Pleasant staff, room spacious clean and tidy, lovely breakfast. Plenty of private parking.
Close to the evening function we were attending.
This hotel is tired and does not come up to it's name 'quality'. What's the point of having an hairdryer in the middle of the wall if there is no 'mirror' to see into. rooms very basic, place needs knocking down and starting again. However, the staff were very good and friendly, bless them.
always stay here no better value anywhere in andover breakfast excellent
Everything really, Staff were good, the Hotel was clean & Tidy, Good Hearty Breakfast with plenty to go at, we will certainly use again on our trips South to visit family.
Nothing much, just the décor could do with a little modernisation.
Nice location and grounds
Hotel was grubby and needs serious investment. Food kept warm for ages at breakfast - vast quantities of food spoiled by being cooked far too early and kept.
To much tape holding things together, tiny television.
Staff helpful & considerate. Breakfast good. Room excellent size.
Hotel not too easy to find [road signs could be clearer].
Location was very good, area wonderfully quiet thus ensuring a good nights sleep. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast good. Price excellent
Good base for visiting stonehenge. Friendly staff
Cold dark room No shower gel in bathroom Loud wedding party. Broken bedside light. Breakfast
The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was OK Plenty of parking Room clean and tidy I would stay here again but I'll check on the restaurant availability first
Finding the hotel without Sat Nav was difficult and I think that the written directions should be reviewed. Some of the common parts seemed to need the kiss of life. It would make so much difference. Having been told that morning that the restaurant would be open until 21.30 on arrival at 20.45 we found that we had 15 minutes to order food at the bar as the restaurant was closed. Not what you want after a 5 hour journey late on a Saturday night
The two staff we interacted with at the hotel were pleasant and polite
The room was very poor quality, unclean, crowded with other poor quality beds, had a noisy, leaking cistern in en suite. Our complaint was expressed strongly in writing to a senior member of the company who fobbed off the complaint and dealt with it like a prim headmistress. The room £75 B&B was appalling BAD VALUE and we requested some discount as compensation - we still await ! Breakfast was a limited imitation of what other hotels offer and yet described as 'Full English', based on self-help, (other than waiters get tea/coffee and toast). We would never go near the place again and would strongly recommend people who ask to avoid the place.
Having to pay £3.00 for Wifi, it should be free to guests.
staff were great, food was good but I did only have a salad. Room was comfortable and I slept well.
Hotel a little tired and noisy from room above and beside me. Wifi very expensive when most hotels these days are free however my 3g worked so didn't need the wifi.
Location Staff helpfulness
As a business user, I needed internet access. This was poor in my room, but good in the bar/lobby.
Staff your lovely and the place that a great feel about it.
Very comfortable bed and room altogether.
Had an evening meal which was very poor, low quality food that was poorly presented and cooked
Cheep, friendly staff, great location
could do a lot more with the property. In need to a rethink. Great potental.
Clean and tidy. Great staff. Good value evening meal.
Really upset by charge for wifi. Probably didn't read small print but felt deceived by description.
Did not feel it was professionally run ....ok for a family run business but expected more from this organisation
Polite staff Free parking Good location
Room wasn't made when we arrived, had to change rooms then spent 15 minutes looking for it because staff were too busy with a wedding. Very out-dated, not sure where the 'quality' comes from. lime scale on the shower heads plus spiders in the shower. Didn't like that someone came into our room while we were out and placed 2 random chairs which gave us even less room. Breakfast was limited, asked for coffee and got tea, asked for toast and it never came. Drink condiments weren't topped up and the kettle had to be boiled on the floor because there was no socket near the dressing table.
had a grat stay second time we have stayed here would deff recomend
Very friendly staff Lovely spacious room Good food
