This Premier Inn hotel is on Caernarfon Harbour, a 3-minute walk from the town centre, Caernarfon Castle, Segontium Roman fort and the Welsh Highland Railway (for trips into Snowdonia).

Looking out over the Menai Strait, Menai Bank Hotel in Caernarfon enjoys excellent views and is just 15 minutes’ drive from the Menai Bridge crossing to Anglesey.
Score from 173 reviews Very good
The Black Boy is a 16th-century inn within Caernarfon's historic town walls. It has good real ales, hearty meals, and is an easy walk from the town centre and 13th-century castle.
Score from 557 reviews Superb
With an Art Deco bar and fine restaurant, The Celtic Royal Hotel features a leisure club and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is situated in Caernarfon centre, just a 10-minute walk from Caernarfon Harbour.

Pretty much everything ...
That there were no on suites but for 1 night fully ok
Breakfast was good, although quite greasy. Excellent location and view of water from restaurant is superbe. Value is good, BUT I was not happy with other aspects.
Sharing washroom with toilet that did not work really well. Food was greasy. Floor of bedroom was on an angle. Cobwebs on ceiling on bedroom. Staff need to keep conversations between staff and client private. We were shocked that people on the patio seemed to know that my wife was not happy with initial observation of the room, and folk other than staff were making comments.
location and having bar in same building is nice
could do with a refurb
Excellent location, just across the street from the castle. The room shares its building with a nice pub.
Noise from the pub made sleeping a real challenge.
Traditional town pub with live music at the weekend. Fabulous location on the front at Caernarvon & on the coastal footpath.
Room small & a bit tatty with smells coming up from the kitchen when we opened the window. No view.
The room was clean with plenty of space. The girl behind the bar was friendly.
The outside door to the B&B did not open from the outside and so it had to be kept on the latch. Also the music from the bar was literally vibrating the walls of the bedroom and didn't stop until past mid-night. Would not recommend for people that need to be up early the next morning.
location fabulous, but through the sat nav out, no actual address, because its between the castle and the waterfront promenade, live music sunday, good food, great ambience, very popular pub
if your looking for 5 star this is not for you, but we were more than happy to be a bit downmarket, for a gem of a place.
On beach, in front of castle.
Very loud music late.
Everyone was friendly and the beds in our room were comfortable - we all had a good nights sleep
Very central location in an historic building with seaside views. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Bargain price.
Friday night live music was noisy though we slept through it, and we were warned in advance. Old floors meant people walking overhead were noisy.
Right in the heart of town, laid-back and unpretentious
Filthy, old, run down - could not wait to escape. Cleaning lady made our breakfast!!!Not her fault but not a good combination!!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!
location .. location view .. absolutely nostalgic
nothing ... shared bathrooms sometimes mean a wait .. but go down to the pub and use that one .. was really a great stay
Convenient. View/area. Breakfast included.
Noise from pub. Thin walls, could hear room next door. Shared bathroom.
The position of the hotel could not be bettered
On Saturday night live music and really loud customers went on until 1.40a.m in the end I had to speak to the manager, but on Sunday night it was quiet. I would advise not to stay Friday and Saturday nights
Friendly staff and good breakfast.
The pub was a bit noisy so the sleep was a bit restless.
Staff were great. Great location next to castle and overlook the sea. Fun on a Saturday night.
Could be a bit to lively on a Saturday night for a family with under 10's.
The location can't be beat. On the harbor and connected to the castle. Free parking and easy access to everything in short walk. Great outdoor seating area to drink a beer and watch the water, look out over Isle of Anglesey and watch the sunset. Good atmosphere in the pub. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice, but shared. The people treated us outstanding. Our room looked out over the harbor.
The rooms are above the pub and restaurant. So there was some noise when we went to bed but it didn't keep us from sleeping and ended up with a great night sleep.
The location beside the Menai Straits The Bed was very comfortable The cooked breakfast was good
Dirty carpets in residents area Grubby carpet in the bedroom Wailing of the busking singers outside, although it did stop before 11.00pm No offer of cereals or fruit juice with breakfast. When we asked about reserving a table for evening meal the response was "You want to eat in?, you don't have to" - we didn't
Location and food were good
Shared bathroom and some pub customers slow to go home delaying sleep
share toilet and shower room very creaky floorboards
Location, atmosphere, views across the pond. Breakfast.
Carpets, badly need replacing, a simple thing.
Location, parking, hearty breakfast. We stayed while attending a wedding reception nearby so it was fine for that, perhaps not if you're looking for a b&b for e.g. a romantic weekend. Even if you don't stay, the Anglesey Arms is definitely worth a visit if you're in Caernarfon because of the amazing views over towards Anglesey. Hope you get a lovely sunset!
It's a bit basic but overall it was fine. Our room was next to the kitchen so the extractor fan was a bit of a bother but for what we needed for our stay, it was spot on.
Staff friendly, room large and clean and comfortable. Toilet across the hall but again, clean and the shower was fine. Location is excellent for Caernarfon and in particular, the castle.
Primarily a lively pub with a late licence, rather than a first class B & b. The rooms are directly above the pub which is very loud on Friday and Saturday nights until c.1.30pm owing to the pubs extended opening hours.
