We both enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would highly recommend this to any visitors to the region. The room was to an excellent standard and the staff made us feel very welcome. Both breakfast and evening meal were fantastic. There are even red squirrels to be seen in the grounds if you are lucky.
Large car park. free . Bed was comfy.Food was delicious.
The room was lovely, well decorated and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Rooms are lovely. Well decorated big bathroom. Great location for touring round anglesey and north wales abof if like us you have a son/daughter studying in bangor
Only stayed 1 night on this occasion so didn't really get to relax and enjot
Food was very good
Only stairs no lift
Everything was great will definitely be going back
friendly staff, good food, relaxed atmosphere, nice room,
I was amazed at how nice the room was, I had a lovely stay and would come back anytime!
They provide a cafetiere and freshly ground coffee in the rooms. The breakfast is excellent and cooked to order.
It is very hot in the upstairs rooms, however, there is a window so this can be rectified.
The heating in the room was to hot unable to turn it down or off.
Great location. Modern look and good food.
Noise on the friday and Saturday from the function room, our bedroom was directly above.
Modern décor Good quality food
Big gap under door meant light and noise from busy pub downstairs flooded in (until about 1am) Some staff not so helpful
Excellent food cheerfully served
The stairs! It would be helpful if we had been warned that there was no lift and we were on the second floor
Lovely staff, great value food with huge portions, gorgeous room
Noisey guests downstairs kept us up late, although this was not hotels fault
The food was particularly good in the hotel while we were there. We had a very good evening meal on the first night of our stay, and the breakfasts were also very good. Our bedroom was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bathroom was very big with a Jacuzzi bath.
We didn't realise that the hotel was pet friendly, and our first night's sleep was disturbed by a barking dog in the next room. Also, I can have an allergic reaction to pet hairs and so I probably wouldn't have booked this hotel had I realised that our room could have had a dog in it the night before. That said, I didn't have such a problem so it turned out not to be an issue. There was also a door on the second floor near our room that banged on closure, and this also disturbed our sleep up to around midnight each night I must say, though, that these are very minor negatives and certainly didn't spoil an otherwise enjoyable 2 night stay.
The accommodation, friendliness & helpfulness of the staff, the atmosphere in the bar and the excellent quality of the food and drinks.
Location of room above car park
Staff very nice food also very good
I was kept awake with the bathroom fan in the next room at 3am it kept going for ages.Very nois'y The wash basin would not hold the water while washing
Friendly staff, lovely room and good food. It was nice that the dog was made welcome. We will definitely do a return visit and would recommend the hotel to our friends.
Location, bar and food. Relaxing environment but with a good buzzing atmosphere
Room was over a function room so a little loud but we still slept
comfortable room, spacious bathroom, brilliant shower, cafetiere in bedroom, dinner menu, extensive breakfast menu, welcoming and friendly staff
very minor details: plug missing from basin, tired bedroom curtains, took a while for someone to take our breakfast order on Sunday morning
Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and functional and the food was average. Very handy location. Overall it was a reasonable place to stay and as we got a rate discount it was comparable to similar places.
Our room was unacceptably noisy as it was above the bar. This was from early evening to 1am. This room should be let at a significantly lower rate and customers informed of the noise. Fortunately we were able to move rooms but we were tired the next day and it have an impact what we did.
Nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Bed was very comfy, Staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely.
Room was slightly noisier than i'd like as our room over the kitchen and therefore near to extractor fans, however this is only a slight criticism.
We had heard good views of the Angelsey Arms but the size and quality of the rooms surprised us. On top of the quality room, the bar was excellent and the breakfast even better.
Bar shut a little early.
