The accommodation, friendliness & helpfulness of the staff, the atmosphere in the bar and the excellent quality of the food and drinks.
Location of room above car park
Staff very nice food also very good
I was kept awake with the bathroom fan in the next room at 3am it kept going for ages.Very nois'y The wash basin would not hold the water while washing
Friendly staff, lovely room and good food. It was nice that the dog was made welcome. We will definitely do a return visit and would recommend the hotel to our friends.
Location, bar and food. Relaxing environment but with a good buzzing atmosphere
Room was over a function room so a little loud but we still slept
comfortable room, spacious bathroom, brilliant shower, cafetiere in bedroom, dinner menu, extensive breakfast menu, welcoming and friendly staff
very minor details: plug missing from basin, tired bedroom curtains, took a while for someone to take our breakfast order on Sunday morning
Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and functional and the food was average. Very handy location. Overall it was a reasonable place to stay and as we got a rate discount it was comparable to similar places.
Our room was unacceptably noisy as it was above the bar. This was from early evening to 1am. This room should be let at a significantly lower rate and customers informed of the noise. Fortunately we were able to move rooms but we were tired the next day and it have an impact what we did.
Nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Bed was very comfy, Staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely.
Room was slightly noisier than i'd like as our room over the kitchen and therefore near to extractor fans, however this is only a slight criticism.
We had heard good views of the Angelsey Arms but the size and quality of the rooms surprised us. On top of the quality room, the bar was excellent and the breakfast even better.
Bar shut a little early.
first of all, some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a hotel.Great location for touring northern Wales or on your way to take the ferry to Ireland Great atmosphere in the bar and the food was great, too
the bed. I had a single room and a single bed that sagged in the middle
Great friendly staff Good food Clean, well presented rooms
Very comfortable room, dog friendly. Also dog allowed in one side of bar. Staff helpful and kept our luggage after checkout.
It was very up to date. Clean. Staff were friendly
Location of the bedroom was on the back by the main car park where the window was facing out onto the fire escape, its not the view I wanted it was just a lot of noise in the morning with the morning staff using it and shouting to each othe woke us up a few times. Bedroom was warm so had to have the window open.
noisey some staff could have been a bit more freindly and helpful.
Courteous staff, accommodating early arrival. Good location Very clean Breakfast
The bed was appalling, it dipped so far in the middle it was more a cot than a bed. Tiny bathroom and shower, it wouldn't pay to be on the large side!
TV not viewable from bed Watchin
Staff, accommodation and food all very good
As an elderly couple, having no lift to reach the second floor rooms was most unfortunate. 42 stairs up and 42 down at least four times a day proved too much for my wife.
Clean, good location overall, well decorated, very good breakfast choice
Traffic noise but the weather was warm so we had to have the window open. Bathroom was very warm and couldn't find control for towel rail to turn the heat off - but this is nit-picking really
It was excellently situated for meeting the 4th member of the get together. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms lovely. Plenty of hot water, and a good menu to sort everyone. Thankyou.
The quality and cleanliness of the rooms. The manageress was a very obliging and friendly person and couldn't do enough for you The staff were very polite and attentive. We have booked for another visit.
Our Family almost took over the hotel for a family get together and we were told there wasn't a late residents bar which did put a damper on things for a few of us who hadn't seen each other for years. The food was average but fairly expensive
The clean and well appointed bed rooms; the public areas and bars; the grounds; the location next to Menai Bridge; good secure car parking located next to hotel entrance
No lift and too many stairs, spread over different levels, therefore not disabled friendly; Strict adherence to " pub" licensing hours, with no allowance made for residents
Everything. Staff really friendly and helpful without exception. Excellent food and comfortable room. Really impressed and will stay there again. Nothing was too much trouble.
Pleased on all levels.
104 was excellent large bed well appointed room
1st room allocated 109 over the kitchen, hot, noisy, bed to small as was the room, tele remote and kettle did not work bathroom window would not open, sink plug leaked. Certainly not a double room
The food was great, the hotel clean and the staff very helpful with nothing too much trouble. Very clean room and gardens to sit in. Will stay again in a quieter room next time.
We were unaware that the hotel would front onto a busy roundabout leading from and to the Menai Bridge. We had a room overlooking the bridge and roundabout. Combined with the function in the hotel - Very noisy.
Spacious rooms light and airy, staff were excellent and food very good.
The closeness to the very busy road meant that the rooms were very noisy especially as it ws warm and the window was open.
