The location is excellent A) The rudest service I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing (a lady banged on the door at 11:02 on Sunday shouting "checking out". B) The room shown on line looked really nice, once there it was all 70s wood panelling and absolutely tiny with a small double (uncomfortable) c) no minibar or room fridge d) the absolute final insult - having to pay for the carpark - never had to do that in Bournemouth before (even in the same road. This hotel is a total joke. |

Left after the first night as provided with an awful bed. Offered alternatve rooms .. all with awful beds so moved to another hotel. Did come back for three evenings to eat in the hotel as the meals were excellent and the service very good. For a £200 investment in a matress you would have made more than that on our room rental alone. Very poor bedding. Neither my wife or I slept all night for the wrong reasons. |

the breakfast was ok. the lobby, bar and staff were well presented and the staff were helpful and courteous. i paid for a twin room with single occupancy. the room assigned was smaller than some budget hotels, with very limited cupboard space. the worst however was the shower. i've stayed in huts in Africa with better showers. monday 8am the water pressure fell so far the shower didn't even drip. simply unacceptable in ANY hotel. |
