Dining room smart with excellent staff and great breakfast, good location for beach and new Forest site seeing Rooms and decor looked dated and spartan, a good re painting and some colour would help. |

Close to theatres and beach When we booked it was advertised as a spa and gym facilities hotel on checking in we discovered a swimming pool was available. So were some what disappointed. |

Friendly & helpful staff, apart from the barman, & hotel is well placed 5 mins from town centre in nice peaceful residential area. Small room, non-existent shower - it was only a drip, poor restaurant food, overall impression of meanness - minimum portions of tea & coffee, tissues & toilet roll in the room. Although decor is good, facelift is only cosmetic - building in poor condition. |

The swimming pool was well used by us. The breakfast was fine. Our chalet type room was good but stuffy when the sun shined. |

Within walking distance to the beach/shops and nice to have swimming pool/garden and parking at the hotel. Room No. 205 that we stayed was right next to the public door entrance on the 2nd floor and it woke us up every time someone walk past as the noise feels like someone is coming to our room. Also, the window has very thin glass and you can hear noises from outside when you're sleeping. |

The hotel is close to the beach and a short walk from Bournemouth town centre. The room was available at 1500hrs, although we were allowed to check in at 0900hrs. When we got into the room in the afternoon there was a pair of the previous occupants socks on a chair and there was no soap/shower gel in the bathroom. |

The hotel was nice and friendly, indoor pool very nice and a good breakfast. Room was large as was the bathroom. The mattress was not too good on the bed. |

The reception was kind enough as to keep us the lugage after checking out. We asked for the vegetables to be served without butter, and with butter they came. There was a small leakage under the WC. Room old. |

The heating was off in our room so I mentioned this to the girl at the reception. She said there was nothing she could do about the rate of my room. I explained I didn't want anything, I was mentioning we had to wait an hour for someone to bring us a heater. The manager came over and I have never been spoken to so rudley. He said he couldnt comment because he wasn't there. |

Staff were very helpful and friendly.Breakfast was excellent-lots of choice.Rooms were clean and comfortable Hving to smoke out the front of the hotel-not a good image for the hotel and was uncomfortable for those wanting to smoke. Guests having to pay for parking. First night was good value but price almost doubled for Easter weekend. |
