Location, service and helpful staff
Slightly chilly room
The staff were pleasant and welcoming nothing was too much trouble there aim was to make your stay as pleasurable as possible and this they achieved. We booked a superior room which had a balcony this was a nice touch . Bed was very comfortable excellent nights sleep.breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice would thoroughly recommend
Really great breakfast
Helpfulness of staff.
Heavy footed guests in the room above ours.
Bedroom radiator not very hot.(top floor ?)
The whole experience was lovely. The pool was amazing and warm. Breakfast top notch. Will reccomend and def be back ty.
Duvet bit small or maybe fitted in cover incorectly. The only wee fault thou.
Had a bar meal which was excellent.
Temperature fluctuations in shower. Couldn't stand under it.
Swimming pool and breakfast
Drab dated room, small window made room dark. Bathroom poor, old fashioned, over bath shower very low.
Extremely efficient and friendly staff. We asked to change rooms as the creaky floorboards in the room above were a problem for us and this was immediately arranged with no bother at all. Breakfast was plentiful and a good selection of items. All staff were attentative and efficient.
The mattress was far too soft, obviously a personal thing, but it definitely felt it was ready for a change . Problem with the plumbing in that the cold water didn't run cold and it was impossible to maintain the temperature in the shower.
Friendly staff and pleasant stay
The pillows were foam and uncomfortable
Large room , very smart , and a swimming pool too
Shower water pressure was not amazing
Very good and clean room with an amazing bed and bathroom facilities. The staff were also helpful and good to speak to.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us
The mattress was far to soft
staff brillant my husband had a special birthday was upgraded with our room thank you
The friendly staff of the hotel who took great pride in working at this hotel and aimed to please.
Room a bit basic, but no real problem. It,would not put me off stopping at this hotel again.
It was a great base to come back to.
The bar area is a bit soulless although comfortable
The hotel and staff are really excellent. Have stayed twice now and would certainly return.
That bed just swallows you up and caresses you into unconsciousness. Great modern decor, decent size TV, everything a business traveller needs.
Erm...minor criticism. The breakfast was just average (i.e. cheap sausages, standard buffet fare), and I will almost certainly not be able to get the same price in the summer, so that counts me out. Business budget, sorry!
I was on business and due to lack of care hd to bring my elderly mother with me. She was very content, felt well looked after and safe.
The heating did not work in my mother's room, but was fixed quite quickly once the hotel was informed.
My cousin lives in Westbourne and it was ideal for us as we visit him about 5 times a year. We stayed in Shaftsbury before
Our first room was really cold they hadn't put the heating on before we arrived. In thier defence they gave us another room which was much nicer. We will stay there again next year.
Friendly staff and mailed my mattery shaver to me promptly on request. Thank you.
Wonderfully friendly staff welcomed us when we first arrived. Excellent location 15 min walk to the beach, shops & bars. Our room 206 was very clean, good decor and tidy, lovely sized ensuite. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of it, all the staff were very friendly & helpful nothing was to much trouble. The bar menu was available late Saturday night and the service from the barmen was outstanding! The hotel itself was warm & welcoming with good decor and the cleanliness was spotless. Free wi-fi and on site parking was available. Excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends and family.
the price was good value and the breakfast was excellent as was the staff members very warm and welcoming the lounge bar area was pleasing the bedrooms were adequate
the bedroom was very cold and the heater didn't always work the bed although comfortable mattress and pillow wise was a very uncomfortable and cold evening experience as regards the duvet to get two people under the duvet and have adequate overhang is impossible and pull it up to cover the shoulder and there is nothing on the feet area .. my son and daughter in law were in one of the chalets at the rear and they had the same problem but they had a spare bed so was able to use two duvets for the warmth and coverage
