Right across from Worthing Train Station, this traditional hotel from the late 19th century has a restaurant, bar and comfy rooms. Worthing seafront is a 15 minute walk away via the center of town.

Across from Worthing Beach, this refurbished seafront property with a Victorian style dates from 1865. Enjoy full English breakfasts, sea views and Italian food in bustling Gio's Bar and Restaurant.

Room was very comfortable, good facilities, bathroom, etc. Food was great and we liked the bar. Very pleasant hotel.
The sauna didn't work during our stay.
The location was the key factor for us as we were visiting family in the village. It was also nice to be able to step outside and have a stroll round the old village.
The bar lacked atmosphere and the decor didn't give a cosy inviting feeling. It would have been nice to have some magazines and newspapers to read on the Sunday morning while waiting in the bar area for our family.
Looked for a quiet weekend away whilst recovering from surgery. This fitted the bill. Querky but comfortable. Staff were excellent.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights and we were impressed with the quality of our room, the facilities; including a warm swimming pool that we seem to have to ourselves, and cheerful and helpful service from the staff. The cooked breakfast was prepared specifically for us, rather than long standing from hot plates, and was delicious. The hotel was well placed to explore the pretty village of Angmering. We also thought it was good value for money considering the quality and class of this establishment. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night in November.
The car park was small so we had to park elsewhere one night after a day out. However, we were still able to park on the road where the hotel is situated.
The pool and sauna were very welcoming .
Getting lost in the quaint corridors lol.
Staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel was beautiful and the food was delicious - again service was excellent. We loved this hotel.
This would have been perfect were it not for the cellar fan/some sort of vent noice coming on and off the whole time. Staff switched it off for us by 21.00 but then another fan came on which didn't go off. Shower pressure dreadful. I suspect we got that room because of the lower price!!! We would definitely go back to this hotel but we would make sure we couldn't hear the fans before we booked. Fantastic staff, food, ambience.
Very helpful staff. We had a baby and a 3 year old and the hotel and restaurant staff were excellent and made things great for us. The pool was a hit.
Pool warm, changing area very cold - it nade us hurry to change though.
Very nice relaxing .
The room was spacious & the bed was comfortable. Swimming pool water was the perfect temp. Breakfast was tasty & made to order. Staff very welcoming. Very nice decor and a quaint building. Parking was easy. Close to many tourist attractions.
The music playing in the bar was too loud. Bathroom mould needs a deep clean. 5 bulbs out in the bedroom.
Lovely building and facilities. Staff were great and the breakfast was very nice. Shame our schedule didn't allow us to try out the evening meal...we'll do that next time
Spacious room, friendly staff and good ambience
Being a retired plumber thought the bathroom, particularly shower, needed updating
Comfortable room Excellent restaurant Unfussy and relaxing
Weekend brakfast starting at 8.30am too late for when we needed to get going, but after such a great meal the night before will make sure we can stay longer next time!
Great service and quality evening meal and breakfast. The pool was ideal to work up an appetite.
Location close to Angmering village. Restaurant food lovely.
Problem with heating, uncomfortably hot in hotel for two night stay. Quite expensive for quality and size of room Waitress in morning quite rude.
The staff were very friendly. Being a young, same sex couple, it can be worrying staying away for the night, however they all welcomed us and were lovely. We stayed for dinner at the hotel and it was amazing. Three courses for £30 was definitely worth it, as all the food was clearly fresh and prepared there. The pool was lovely and clean, although couldn't get the sauna to work!
Breakfast was a little disappointing, however this could have been due to the high standard at dinner. It was disappointing that there was no vegetarian alternative and the continental breakfast selection was poor.
just love this hotel and the friendly staff
We loved the friendliness of all the staff and the excellent cleanliness of our room. We enjoyed using the pool daily and really enjoyed the lovely breakfasts. The car park is a must, although not large it is sufficient.
We didn't like the fact that Wifi wasn't free but cost £5 a day and the fact that there are no standard rooms on the ground floor for people on a tight budget with physical disabilities.
Bedroom furniture, too big and ornate Couldn't open windows
Off road parking, away from the maddening crowd, each room is unique, old word meets modern convenience, lounges where I could work, non-intrusive staff, relaxing atmosphere, great place for runners (excellent series of paths without need to run on roads)
The full English breakfast was rather large - a smaller portion should be offered.
Excellent food, friendly staff, nice pool and pleasant room in a quiet setting.
The bathroom was amazing...
The Angmering started serving breakfast at 07:30, this is much too late. The staff were informed when i checked in that I needed to be out of the hotel by 07:30 but they would not make any provision for an earlier start. The room cost was inclusive of breakfast so I felt ripped off!
