Great breakfast with attentive staff and good variety. Fantastic location - close to everything you might want to do. Spotless bathroom and comfy beds.
Very small thing really - cup ring marks on the bedsidee tables and dust over the lift door gave a poor impression of an otherwise great place.
10 minute walk to Hydro - perfect. Very clean, immaculate bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Extremely helpful staff.
Bed was VERY hard.
crossing the road between main reception and guest house
The room was spotless, the breakfast fantastic and staff extremely friendly. And it is consistently this way, - I have stayed there several times, and always enjoyed it.
nothing to complain about
Comfortable room. Liked having card for entry to guest house. Felt safe but also free to come and go.
Needing to check in and have breakfast in building across the road.
Staff Atmosphere Helpfulness Customer care Location Parking convenience
Synthetic duvet No ironing facilities
position , room , staff , breakfast.
bar was a bit under stocked , bar man was busy
Time spent there spoiled by getting a parking ticket in the morning, totally forgot all about the meter.so be aware in the morning meters effective from 8.am.
Breakfast was good, staff were good, room was showing its age but was clean and tidy
Guy snoring next door and then leaving his TV on the next night
breakfast proximity to excellent restaurants proximity to bus routes and city ease of check-in
lack of parking having to go downstairs to go upstairs in the annex
Good location for Hydro, bed good, clean.
The noise of argyle road, low pressure shower.
Good breakfast especially the porridge
Location: Near interesting museum. Short walk to SECC. On bus route to airport. Staff. All very friendly and helpful.
Would have liked some hot chocolate in room as well as tea & coffee. Breakfast offered tinned fruit salad - fresh would be better. Apparently I had booked room only - but they didn't remind me of that when I booked in.
Hotel was clean & bright in very good location. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Heating was there if needed. Bed was very comfortable too
Unable to find anything that didn't meet our needs.
Staff friendly & efficient, nice clean room & bathroom. Good breakfast. Will definitely return again.
Friendly and helpful staff.
No common room. Had to go across the street to have breakfast.
It had free wi-fi and the breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and it had a bath which I always prefer to a shower.
TV was digital, pixellated all the time and for all intents and purposes it was unwatchable.
Location was excellent rooms were as advertised comfortable and clean. Staff helpfull and friendly.
Great for the Hydro Bars and restaurants on your door step Beautiful surroundings , park and Museaum to visit
Road noise Shower was a trickle Bed hard But we loved it
The price, however there was no breakfast included and for a further £20 I could have had a better room in the actual hotel with breakfast included
The fixtures and fittings in the bathroom,
location is fantastic as a visitor to Glasgow. Clean, Quiet and quite comfortable... will definitely stay here again.. wont bother to shop around as the value is fantastic also. Very friendly staff and located so close to great pubs, restaurants and activities.....
parking is difficult as it is with most hotels in Scotland, England and Wales. next time instead of spending money on a car rental and parking fines, will be hiking, bussing or using the train for transportation. my one and only complaint but wont stop me from booking here again.........
convenient location; excellent breakfast; accessible staff.
inadequate lighting in bedroom; confusing fire safety notice; no socket for shaver.
It is a very good place if you want the West End and the City Centre. Good value for money and a good distance from the city centre. There is free parking and loads of restraurants and bars around the area. I stayed there for 5 nights and was very comfortable.
Nothing, great place.
The guest house was in a great location as we were going to the hydro 10 minute walk away our room was lovely and breakfast great we enjoyed our time at the argyll guest house and in Glasgow great location for shopping too have recommended to friends already for next year
