The location was good, inexpensive for taxis to the city centre. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. The bathroom was very dated and the shower was as ineffectual as a watering can. It could have been cleaner.

Good location (near main busroutes; direct access from airport). Excellent price-quality match. For this price... I do not think you will find anything better.

The location is excellent. There are great transport facilities. The cost was reasonable. My room was nice. The staff were fine. When I couldn't get a taxi, the receptionist got one for me. The room was cleaned and supplied with tea, coffee, towels, etc.

It was convenient for my purpose, the staff were excellent - very helpful, with a friendly efficient manner, and the breakfasts were very good. The stairs, and the shower over the bath.

Room was very comfortable, breakfast was ok, staff very polite & helpful On arrival was informed that dining room & bar closed for refurbishment. Main purpose of booking hotel was for evening meal in hotel. Should have been informed of this during booking process!? Father couldn't use shower as no handrail in bath area!?

I stayed for a one night stopover. I have used this guest house and sister hotel many times and always found it clean and comfortable with excellent breakfasts. It is in a very handy location next to Kelvingrove park.

The staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast at £5 was a bargain. Traffic noise was considerable. Glad we bought earplugs with us otherwise we would have had a poor sleep.

Reasonably well located to visit art galleries and museums. The room was a bit tired and could have done with refurbishment. We were on the lower level and access down narrow stairs with 2 large suitcases was not easy and the room smelled a little stale.

The room was very clean and looked like the picture on the Internet. There was a good supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk and biscuits. The breakfast buffet was excellent. They served a good variety of items including cold cereals, yoghurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, fruit juices and fruit. You could not go away hungry. NOTE: This hotel is 2 MILES from the train station. The manager said it is a 25 minute walk (without luggage!). I discovered the #23 bus will take you directly to the bus station and drops you about 1 long block from the hotel; however I could not figure out where to catch it at the station. Hopefully one can obtain that information from the train station personnel. The one receptionist was busying tracking down a lost cell phone while the manager just stared at me and the other young man used the computer. I had to ask the manager to check me in - which was unacceptable! The guest house is across the street from the hotel housing reception. When I checked in, none of the appliances worked - they were all unplugged. Alex ( the lone receptionist) came over and plugged everything in and discovered the tv remote batteries were dead, He managed to find batteries later. I also spoke with the lone daytime receptionist. It is unfair to expect these receptionist to function alone when dealing with issues. I will not recommend this guest house until this issue is resolved. Once the issue is resolved with a second receptionist mornings and evenings, I would be happy to recommend the hotel.

Best breakfast of the holiday. Friendly, helpful staff, good location Poor plumbing in toilet & bathroom needs attention. Noisy street outside hotel. Room needs a fan in Summer so you can close the windows to cut down noise
