Clean basic guest house. Great location for our function. I asked for a quiet room but we were on the ground floor at the front. It was very noisy and I didn't get much sleep. If I'd been staying more than one night I would've asked to be moved. The ironing board I borrowed was useless, had something on it that caught my husband's shirt and caused a hole.

We were delighted to find that parking was easy outside the hotel and free at weekends. And also pleased that we had been booked into the hotel as the Guest House directly opposite was being used to accommodate a large party. The only difference was we didn't have to cross the road to get breakfast and we'd happily stay at the Guest House another time. The rooms were not huge but clean and well furnished - although way too much tartan for my liking!!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We felt like we were very welcome to be there. They kept our luggage because we arrived before check-in time. The staff gave us map of city and gave advice on public transportation. There is phone to call a cab free of charge. Free WiFi for internet access. Housekeeping was silent and kept our room very clean. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly (especially Linda)! The location is perfect. Near the the University and Gallery/ Museum of Art - view from our bedroom. Beautiful. We just felt very well-taken-care-of. We would definitly come again to this Guest House. We stayed four nights and we loved every moment of our stay! The only thing was that shower system is out-dated and can be dangerous with hot water- extremely hot water when I was trying to figure it out. That was the only thing that was 'negative' Otherwise, this place is very good place to stay at.

It was convenient for my purpose, the staff were excellent - very helpful, with a friendly efficient manner, and the breakfasts were very good. The stairs, and the shower over the bath.

Room was very comfortable, breakfast was ok, staff very polite & helpful On arrival was informed that dining room & bar closed for refurbishment. Main purpose of booking hotel was for evening meal in hotel. Should have been informed of this during booking process!? Father couldn't use shower as no handrail in bath area!?

I stayed for a one night stopover. I have used this guest house and sister hotel many times and always found it clean and comfortable with excellent breakfasts. It is in a very handy location next to Kelvingrove park.

Reasonably well located to visit art galleries and museums. The room was a bit tired and could have done with refurbishment. We were on the lower level and access down narrow stairs with 2 large suitcases was not easy and the room smelled a little stale.

Best breakfast of the holiday. Friendly, helpful staff, good location Poor plumbing in toilet & bathroom needs attention. Noisy street outside hotel. Room needs a fan in Summer so you can close the windows to cut down noise

We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend your hotel to our friends. The only point which I would make was the amount of stairs to get to our room. Next time I would make sure I booked a ground floor room.

We have had issues with the cleaning staff, trying to come in the bedroom when the sign do not disturb was out and waking us up the day after. They have also left our window open on the first morning we realised it when we came back in the evening. This could have been quite an issue considering we were ground floor.

We were upgraded from the guest house to the hotel, free of charge. The twin rooms were clean, capacious and quiet; the breakfast far beyond what was expected and the location just next to Kelvin Park and five minutes away from the univeristy, perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful.
