Only a minute from highway A74(M), The Annandale Arms Hotel offers an award-winning restaurant and comfortable, modern rooms. It offers hearty, Scottish breakfasts and a private courtyard. With contemporary private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi, rooms at Annandale also feature TVs and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some rooms also overlook the private courtyard or the beautiful Moffat hills. Annandale features an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant, serving the best of local produce, with 21-day aged Scottish steaks. Guests can also enjoy a variety of seasonal, homemade items from the kitchen. The hotel also boasts a huge variety of excellent malt whiskeys and real ales. Free parking is available, and the nearby Devil’s Beef Tub is just 15 minutes’ drive away and offers paragliding and lovely hill views and walks. The reception staff were welcoming and informative. It was very relaxing. All staff were polite. Nice bar and atmosphere. Good decor. There was an extra electric fire in the bedroom which we used when watching tv. It was a cold windy night. The dinner was very good with excellent choice of menu Breakfast was excellent. Food was hot.

The Annandale is a lovely friendly hotel and Elaine, the receptionist, always has a smile and a warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the food is good and nothing is too much trouble. There is a nice bar and a pleasant dining room overlooking the main street. We have only stayed here twice as a resting place on our way up north but I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a holiday in and around Moffat. There is ample parking at the rear of the hotel and tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon sun with a glass of wine or two! There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Location was good.central in moffat. Extremely expensive.not value for money.had to pay extra for babys travel cot and for a babys breakfast of one wheatabix. Staff not friendly, felt in the way and an inconvenience to them by me just being there. Room very average, nothing special considering it cost a fortune for two nights stay.

In a lovely location, and accessable to beautiful scenery.Hotel staff were pleasant and friendly.The room was comfortable and well presented. The Hotel had a nice cosy and friendly atmostphere, we would definately stay here again.
