Wonderful place to stay in Windermere. Definitely go back again! 非常好，很喜欢，房间很大，洗手间更大，从很漂亮的花园直接进入房间。虽然我们住的时候有点冷，正值下雪。- 但是下次去湖区一定还会住这里的。

Beautiful house and our room was modern and very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was large and a joy to use. 2 minutes walk and we were in the village center.

Small issues with the free wifi (signal strength was poor in our room).

The house is right on a very busy main road. While you can't hear it whilst inside downstairs in the rooms, it is not a great location to recreate from, and the drone of heavy traffic pervades the garden. Breakfast was a little like being in your grandmother's dining room. Windemere itself is nothing to write home about. I'd avoid it for a smaller village in the lake district.

We had a very worm, kind welcome from Alena and Roger, they definitely make you fell home, the place was amazing, wish the visit was in spring, for sure my wife and I will be back.

Friendly atmosphere, having your own entrance to building and the freedom to come and go as you please. The room was clean and modern, the bathroom was divine with underfloor heating throughout.

Warm friendly welcome from Roger and Alena. Room/bathroom spotlessly clean. Choice of where you could have breakfast room or dining room, fresh local produce (no little plastic packets to fight with). Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone for a relaxed stay.

great service, elegant room, heavenly garden

It was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. It's a lovely house and the accommodation was first class. The location is excellent whether arriving by car or train. Alena and Roger are absolutely lovely and made our stay with them very special. It's a real gem.

Alana and Roger were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much bother. The room was fantastic and beyond expectation. The bathroom was exceptional and wow factor...

Our rooms in the B & B consisted of a beautifully furnished lounge opening onto our private patio, bedroom and bathroom with luxury furnishings, fabulous garden, lovely old stone house. Our hosts Roger and Alena were delightful. Highly recommended.

The room/bathroom are beautifully furnished in a modern way, with a private entrance via a gorgeous garden at the back of the property - it's obvious a lot of time time and love went into caring for the garden. Alena and Roger are lovely people, making wonderful breakkies and the house is within short walking distance to all the shops!

The house has a beautiful garden and room. They are clean and tidy. And breakfast tasted great.

Alena and Roger were exceptional, friendly and very helpful. Having the use of a patio and garden made our stay so much more enjoyable. Breakfast outstanding!

We loved it and cant wait to go back. The couple that ran the accomodation were lovely, the room was gorgeous, the food was fab, we both really enjoyed our stay there.

The friendliness of the host and hostess made this a brilliant place to stay! Having my own access on a 24 hour basis was so great. The breakfast was the best I have experienced after traveling in Osaka, Paris, London and Dublin. The location meant that I did not need a car. This saved me a lot of money. The station was only ten minutes walk and the Town centre was only five minutes walk. The garden, which I had my dinner in, was spectacular! I was provided with all the help I needed and given all the information and maps I could handle. The hostess went out of her way to help me find what I needed on the internet. My bathroom was luxury plus with a large sized bath and a strong flow shower. The bathroom floor was heated as was the towel rack. The room had a fridge and digital entertainment - tv, CD/iPod player and dvd player. The house itself was beautiful, inside and out. Could not ask for anything more.

Tv reception in Windermere is not good so take lots of DVDs with you when you go, particularly if you have children. The room has free Wi Fi access.

Annesdale House lived up to it's reputation as luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. I loved having my own suite with a patio door leading into a wonderful garden. The bedroom was spacious and elegant and the bathroom huge and luxurious with a deep bath and walk in shower. All the fittings were first class. Alena and Roger were attentive hosts and I so enjoyed the breakfasts served in their wonderful dining room. The location was an excellent choice as just a few minutes walk from the railway station and handy for buses and the information office. I am a walker and this was my first holiday alone in the Lake District and I felt like spoiling myself and indeed that is exactly what happened. For anyone who also wants a few days away in wonderful surroundings and to stay somewhere very special then I highly recommend Annesdale House.

We absolutely loved this b&B. Our hosts were wonderful. The room was most comfortable and we wanted to take the bathroom home with us. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. And the location was so convenient yet quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here if in the area in the future.

The suite was beautiful, couldnt of asked for more. Lovely view of the garden from our patio and excellent friendly service. Breakfast delivered to our room was just perfect. Couldnt fault any of it. Perfect quiet location.
