This is the kind of place you live in for longer time I suppose. People that also leave there are rather nice and engage in interesting conversations. Bathroom is at the end of the hallway, but it's cleaner than in places I payed double the price.
Reeeeally far off. East Acton station is 35 minutes away from anything you'd like to visit in London.
Kindness of maid.
missing cutlery (no forks to eat!)
easy access to tube and local amenities. clean and presentable.
Could have a fan available very hot and noisy with windows open.
Nothing the whole experience was horrendous
Everything, He answered the door with no top on or shoes in pyjamas, tried to over charge us, have us a smelly dirty room with communal bathroom and shower room and all the furniture was old and battered. It was like a scene from a horror film, we didn't even stay we had to leave as it was that abysmal.
Unusual place, a row of modest cottages well renovated and spotlessly clean. I was met by a man in a car outside who seemed to be the owner/manager. He asked for 30 GBP over the booking.com price, but as long as I paid cash he accepted the agreed price - no paperwork. However when he saw that I can't easily manage stairs he put me in a ground floor twin room rather than the top floor single for no extra cost. Very generous. The self catering kitchen was good. Shared shower/toilet excellent.
No bedside lamp. Had to use torch to read in bed.
Took owner 1 hour and 4 visits to locksmith to let me access room. He also took cash and gave receit for a different place.
Greeted by a ten year old. Had to ring his dad, then we waited to be let in. We were running late and missed the weigh in for the fight due to this.
Good value for money
Had to pay by cash clearly avoids paying tax. Was met by his 8 year old son had to wait 20 minutes to get in
Location. Price. Tidy rooms.
No parking and street parking was very challenging
Very quiet and comfy. Good parking. Great value for £39. Lots of eating houses/take aways very close
Nearby tube station Cleaning Big rooms Parking space
Kitchen was dirty Towels are old and to many times used
Absolutely awful! Had to wait 45 minutes to get a key for the room because the owner was on holiday as booking.com didn't inform them, then they didn't have the rooms we booked so we had have alternative rooms.
Close to the tube station & shops. Room & toilet were clean enough.
All business was dealt with via phone calls & 'hotel' owner sending his young children to sort things out.
Close to East Acton tube station. Supermarket and fast-food nearby. Generally clean rooms and bathroom. Shared kitchen with microwave and oven.
We booked our 6-day reservation starting 12th Sep with more than a week advance. We arrived at 7PM and heard that there is no room for us. Instead of apologize we heard: "What's your problem, my friend? We send you to different hotel for the night and tomorrow we pick you up." "No double bed? Just put these two together and you have double" Absolutely unprofessional approach. If not for lack of other options on the day of our arrival we would not stay there. We were told that they had informed us about it in two mails. Indeed I received two, which I read afterwards. One at 23:51h 10th Sep asking about our arrival time. Second 17:14h 11th Sep INFORMING to check in at another location of theirs (Abbey Hotel). AVOID when planning peaceful and relaxing stay.
there was a kitchen avaluble 2 use and it was nice and quiet
we had 2 wait out side 4 30minute 2 be given a key. I ordered a double room and expected a double bed but it had 2 singles. not happy.
