The whole place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast first class. Sharon the perfect hostess and very friendly.
We stayed 4 days. Everything was very good, and the nice people made it special. When we came we had box of chocolates on our bed. We stayed over new years eve, and they placed a bottle of sparkling wine and two glases in our room. We had a dvd player in our room with a big selection of dvds. In total everything was great and we had a wonderful stay!
Comfortable. Good location. Good food.
Warm welcome, comfortable, clean and homely. Just like the pictures, lovely breakfast. Complementary mince pies and sherry!!!
We had a lovely weekend stay here and felt very at home. The house is just a short walk from all the shops, restaurants and pubs in Bowness. Parking was available on the street right out the front. The room was comfortable, warm and well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and included a few options to choose from We had a great stay.
Great location, no trouble to park, lovely owner, Egyptian cotton bed linen, spa bath, attic room, spotlessly clean
Quiet location within a few minutes walk of the town, shops, restaurants and pubs and the lake. Very friendly proprietress. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed and no traffic or other noise.
No lounge so only met other guests at breakfast and spent our time in our room when we returned to the house.
Friendly, personalized visit with great breakfast, comfy room, quiet yet convenient location to visit the Lake District. My friend and I walked all over from here. We walked here from the train station and back here from Beatrix Potter's home. Sharon even does laundry for a fair fee, which was a treat.
Great B&B very pleasant host excellent food
Very comfortable stay, Sharon was a welcoming and friendly host. Highly recommend staying here.
Very friendly and attentive hosts. Lovely comfy beds and bedroom and hair dryer and bathrobes supplied, probably due to having no ensuite but own bathroom right next door, fantastic breakfast.
We were in a room without an ensuite, but had our own bathroom next to our room. Not a great hardship but do prefer an ensuite that's the only small negative but it wouldn't stop us from staying there again.
A lovely B&B on a quiet street in busy and crowded Bowness-on-Windermere. Host was a delight. Very fast WiFi which we appreciated.
10 minute walk from Lake Windermere.
Quiet because not directly located in the city center but still close to restaurants Clean Large bathroom Friendly home owner
We really enjoyed our stay at Annisgarth b&b. Nice, clean, good breakfast, close to the lake,... The lady had a lovely manner...
Friendly welcome from Sharron the owner, great breakfast and choice. Ample tea coffee available plus modern coffee maker. Had top floor en-suite with shower and modern bath.Would certainly go again and recommend.
Great location, very comfortable and clean. Yummy breakfast and helpful host. Our best B & B so far!
Sharon was a great host, everything was good. Our room was very comfortable and all the little finishing touches were thought of. Breakfast was lovely and a great start to our days walking. We would certainly stay at Annisgarth again.
Sharron was very friendly and accommodating. My room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was excellent.
No car park but I had no difficulty finding a spot.
welcome and cleanliness
Sharron the owner was fantastic . We stayed in room 3 the luxury double and it is an absolutely gorgeous room. The breakfast was delicious . You are less than 10 minutes walk to the lake and village . Would give a 10/ 10 and will definitely be back
Hostess was very friendly and thoughtful. Good suggestions on places to go. Wonderful location for exploring the area. Great breakfasts.
No complaints whatsoever.
We decided to get a bit of time away at the last minute and knew from looking on line that there were not a lot of reasonably priced rooms available. We have stayed all over Bowness and in some of the more expensive hotels as well. From the reviews on line I instantly knew that this would be suitable for our one night stay and I wasn't wrong. The room which was number 3 was really clean and cosy with a very large bathroom and suited us perfectly. The breakfast in the morning was lovely also and piping hot!! It is a very intimate B & B and Sandra the host is very welcoming. The whole place has a nice feel about it. Our one evening away was very much enjoyed.
