A short walk from Canterbury city centre and its world-famous Cathedral, this privately-owned hotel is set within a Victorian townhouse, amid 2 acres of well-maintained grounds.

Just across the road from the beach, Hotel Continental offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes’ walk from Whitstable’s characterful town centre.
Score from 362 reviews Very good
A delightful old pub close to the city centre and its many tourist attractions. The ruins of the ancient water mill (hence Miller's Arms) on the River Stour remain alongside the pub.
Score from 328 reviews Superb
Just metres from Canterbury’s medieval West Gate, this charming building dates back to 1403. A former coaching inn, it offers free Wi-Fi and free parking, 2 minutes’ walk from the city centre.

Breakfast was tailored to your exact needs. It was well cooked, plentiful and not rushed.
Excellent breakfast, very friendly and relaxed, and peaceful.
Location is 5 minutes away from the centre of Canterbury. Breakfast is excellent, staff friendly and helpful without fuss. Rooms are very comfortable. Will consider staying again.
Room (5) was at the back of the house overlooking the garden and was very quiet even with the windows open.Very clean and comfy room with lovely furniture.hostess extremely helpful, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. we had arrived much eariler than the check in time and this caused no problem at all
only small problem was that breakfast was slighty early 7.30am to 8.30am but breakfast was very tasty.
Ann's House was easy to find and parking on the forecourt was a plus. Lisa our hostess was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Room number 5 was spacious with a four poster bed overlooking the back garden and was exceptionally clean. The full English breakfast was very good and set us up for the day ahead and on our last evening a box of chocolates was waiting for us which was a lovely gesture. Thank you Lisa.
Lovely room. Good breakfast
Rooms at the front are very noisy from the road outside
We had room nr. 5 which was fresh and clean and decorated with style, very quiet at the backside with view on the garden and a very comfortable clean bed (bedsheets smelled fresh). Furniture with an ancient character was very charming. The hostess Lisa even helped carrying our luggage when going up to our room. Each morning a nice good quality breakfast was served and the hostess regularly came to our table to ask if we still needed anything else. The evening before we checked out, the hostess Lisa even left a box of chocolates in the room as a treat for our return journey which was a very nice gesture.
Breakfast time was rather early :between 07:30 and 08:30
An easy walk into the town centre. A warm welcome from the host. A good breakfast. Off street parking.
Friendly host, reasonable sized room, good breakfast
Very poor wifi service - too slow to download emails and use the internet; beds creaked; busy road with a lot of traffic noise
Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, great breakfast. All you need from a B&B.
Lovely bright room, welcoming host, great location and yummy breakfast!
Breakfast was only served for an hour 7:30-8:30am and wifi was a little slow.
Very good overall and very welcoming. The breakfasts were outstanding
Lisa was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfasts and as much as you could possibly eat. Fantastic location as a short walk in to Canterbury.
