Anns House Bed and Breakfast  

The extremely friendly and helpful staff as well as the delicious and hearty breakfast. The staff couldn't have been any better and the room was spotless. A very enjoyable stay altogether, thank you.

The bedroom was large, comfortable and clean with a pleasant outlook over the rear garden. The breakfast was excellent setting us up for the day. The parking was excellent and driving in the city is dreadful.

It is a little way from the centre and the walk was a problem for people approaching 80. Changes to the bus route resulted in the bus going on a circular route in one direction only ending at the bus station at the furthest point in the city. Originally it would have passed the nearest entry point to the city when going in the reverse direction

Could have done with a deeper wardrobe to hang my suit. Some pegs on the wall would have been useful.

The breakfast on Sunday finished at 8.30... tooo early for a Sunday!

It's a very tastefully decorated b&b, we really liked it. Good breakfast, very nice host. Very close to centre and near shops and great restaurants - all a short walking distance away. We were visiting our student daughter. Liked it ll.

Location to city was excellent with good parking facilities.

The hotel is located on a very busy main road, our room was at the front and was very noisey at all hours, so double glazing may help and a little bit of tlc and updating required.

Nice place, very friendly, our room was delightfully decorated, and free WiFi throughout. Make sure you follow Ann's instructions to call ahead and say what time you'll be arriving though, or you could end up getting left on the street! It's a fairly large B&B, so you need to be up and about quite early, and there's a fair bit of banging doors in the morning. If you want a lie in, get a hotel.

Spacious room, neat bathroom and daily cleaning, busy road but very quiet room. About a 15 min walk from the city centre. The breakfast was very good.

Acces to the garden would have been nice. There was also not enough light in the bedroom to read a book.

On arrival we were greeted by the owner Lisa, who was very warm and welcoming. There was good parking and our initial impressions were of a very well kept house. Our room was superbly decorated with a beautiful, large en-suite and it was very airy. Large freeview Tv and tea and coffee making facilities also. Breakfasts were well above average and Lisa is a most attentive host. Daily room cleaning was exceptional. A short walk will take you into Canterbury's centre so it is ideally placed for the ancient city centre. Overall, highly recommended and made more special by Lisa's wonderful hospitality.

In over 30 years of staying in B&Bs I can honestly say that Anns House is in my top three! Ann is as friendly as lots of others have already stated. Free parking within walking distance of the town centre. The room I stayed in, overlooking the garden, was spotless, tastefully furnished and had one of the best and most spacious showers I have ever had. Breakfast was excellent and the traditional English breakfast was of a very high quality. All in all, when I am in Kent again, I will be heading to this B&B.

The back garden seems "off limits" (assurance issues due to water feature). A shame.

We found anns house on the net. We booked for one night but found it so nice and friendly we stayed for a second night room was excellent a .nd very clean. Breakfast was brilliant .served warm and plenty to eat.will recommend anns house to all family and friends.

A pleasant stay. Not to far to walk to city centre. Helpful chatty staff. Very good full english breakfast. Comfortable room and bed. Large flat screen TV with Freeview. Hall and Louge decoration a bit tired but state of room decoration fine as was the breakfastroom. Would happily stay there again.
