The Anvil Lodge sits just off the main street, away from the hustle and bustle of the old market town, but an easy walk from pubs, restaurants and quaint shops. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Mick and Judy could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfast was amazing! More than enough to feed a small army. We are going back next year! Nothing.

I booked the Anvil lodge last min as I was taking some customers out in Shifnal/Shrewsbury & wanted somewhere nice and central to the town. Like Ronseal, it did exactly what it said on the tin. The room was excellent, the staff were friendly & breakfast was just the ticket after a good night out.

Good location - Shifnal has an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants. Very friendly reception from Michael and Judith; comfortable and nicely appointed room; lovely fresh-cooked breakfast!

The staff was so nice . in fact they were so cooperative and easy to react and help. Daily breackfast was so delicios and clean .The site represents a typical english country site. I thing that Mick and Juddei were very friendly

Felt very welcome. The rooms were immaculate and there were extra luxuries which you don't expect to find in a B and B such as a corner bath and shower, under floor heating, luxury shower gel, fluffy towels, biscuits, large bed. Fantastic breakfast...something to suit everybody. I feel I need to write a review as this place is amazing!!!!

The room was spotlessly clean, the facilities were new, the en-suite bathroom was very well equipped and the owner was really helpful and courteous. The breakfast was good.

Accommodation is very comfortable and clean.6ft.bed is excellent, bathroom well appointed.Food is very good and almost "all you can eat".Judy and Mike are very friendly and helpful. Bit too close to the road.Pity about the industrial site behind , but really did not affect the stay.

The friendliness of the greeting when arriving and during the stay. The room was absolutely spotless and comfortable. Breakfasts unbelievable. Would recommend anyone to stay there. Only downside we had to leave!!

Clean, comfortable,friendly staff. We had no complaints about the Anvil Lodge. Everything we needed was available & the breakfast was excellent. Apart from the location which is next to an industrial park, I find it difficult to find any faults with the Anvil Lodge.

It was great value for money. It was very comfortable, warm, vibrant shower, great breakfast and friendly owners. I would definitely go out of my way to stay at the Anvil Lodge again, even though there are hotels closer to the International Conference Centre in Telford. No complaints, no regrets.

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Mick & Judy are always very helpful. Good location near enough to town centre to walk to some excellent eateries with a good selection of cuisine. Easy access to Shrewsbury by train and the lovely Weston Park is only 10 minutes away in the car.

We were made welcome and all our needs were catered for.The accomodation was spacious, had a substantial car park and our room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Shifnal eateries were within walking distance.

The owners were very welcoming. The room was lovely. Very clean. In fact both room and bathroom were so clean that they looked as if they were newly installed. Bed was very comfortable indeed. The owners gave excellent information about places to eat in the evening. Very enjoyable stay.
