- The bathroom was clean and has everything we need. - The shower was amazing with many functions includes massage option. - The bed is comfortable.
- The hotel does not have sign. So, I was confusing and I had to call them to double check the hotel address. It is not good for a hotel not to have a sign for any reason. - There is no elevator and there is no luggage storage. So, I had to carry my bags to the 3rd floor and take them back again at check out. - The price is a bit high for a single room (and without breakfast).
The location was good for tube station Hyde park and shops
The room decor was tired and we were in the basement which was dark and dingy, looking out onto the front steps which were dirty and it was very noisy
Perfect location. Very close to the subway and lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Including a cinema and shopping mall. Hyde Park was very close by as well as Portobello Road market. We visited to go to Notting Hill carnival which was only 10/15 min walk away. We had a basement room with a lovely little patio door. I imagine it could get chilly in the winter but it was perfect for our summer visit. Room was clean and comfortable.
Only problem was that we only had one mug provided with the room.
Arrived at 11am and was given our room key even tbough check in wasn't until 2pm. Room was immaculate and all kitchen facilities were provided. Staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Even when we went out during the day they had cleaned our entire room including the washing up from the night before. I perhaps wouldn't recommend this to older couples but it is a great little place for a young couple looking for somewhere nice with value for money. I will certainly be returning!
Location very good, from Notting Hill to parks to Albert Hall & museums to Oxford Street. Serviced room, clean sheets and linen during the week.
Not enough wardrobe room for clothes and hanging space. Needed a couple of coat hooks other than the toilet door. Windows needed a good clean and the room had a fusty smell that we overcame with air fresheners.
Bathroom was lovely, but the rest of the room was badly looked after. No signage outside, so hard to find. Didn't feel very safe or secure, as locks on windows and French doors were old, and easily broken
Lower floor was noisy
Very cosmopolitan area - lot of restaurants and pubs.
Street noise - to be expected in London.
I liked the room. It's clean, there's a little kitchen, if you want to make your own food you can. It's not huge but it's not cramped either. TV remote wasn't working properly, and cable cut out, but I was there to sleep and get clean. Shower was nice, bathroom was very clean. the area is mixed, it's posh, but there's a street of shops, curry houses, shisha bars.. which makes it kinda fun!
I still think it was a bit expensive, but that's London, they can get away with it. For this price you should have breakfast included I think.
clean, well designed small studio room. Modern design. Air conditioned.
Not a problem as such for us as we had 1 small suitcase, but our studio was on the 4th floor up a very narrow staircase with no lift. If people have a lot of bags or have mobility issues, this would be a problem for them
Great location, close to trains and buses. Very clean. Good access to restaurants and pubs
Location was great. Option of two tube stations, Bayswater on District line only 200mtrs and Queensway on Central line 400mtrs away. We used Central line mostly as only 3 stops Oxford Circus one way and 3 stops to Sheperds Bush the other way. Kitchenette was very handy. Air Conditioning was good.
Very tiny and very cramped. No where to put anything. Could do with a couple of shelves to put things and a couple of hooks to hang coat or jacket. If you came back from rainy day there is no where to hang a coat. No where to put your suitcase (cant get it under the bed) I don't understand..... surely this establishment is targeting tourist market yet there is no where to get your suitcase out of the way. Seriously there is no more than 300mm space between bed and walls. Fridge door didn't close properly neither did bi-fold door for ensuite. Consequently we left this door open most of time which stuck out into the entrance way and restricted your access. Security safe was permanently locked and they couldn't open it, so we couldn't use it other than putting things in reception safe. Wasn't a pleasure to come back to each time after a day sightseeing. Sorry, wouldn't use again as really is too tiny for the 7 night stay we had.
Location close to 2 tubes, ok price comparable with others
Tiny room for 3 photo of room was a little exaggerated. Exceptionally high toilet, half lights not functioning, a bit tired and so cleanliness was difficult to assess, when we arrived we were told we had no booking but when we produced a receipt amazingly she could find a room
Just the wi fi does not work in the rooms
Not cleare for me in the wipsite the room we're rent in the besement but we thinke in the first or second floors
No lift.. rooms too small.. not suitable for family with small children.. too expensive for the facilities provided
Room cleaning Location Staff
Stain from water damage in the ceiling, not fully working tv set(picture freezing) and noise between rooms. No sign outside the hotel.
Close to all transport, eateries, and Central London tourist sites.
No sign on door to indicate it is accommodation. No staff on premises overnight. Access to rooms only by narrow stairway.
I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. In my last day at the hotel they had blocked my key and I when I came to the hotel just after midnight, I could´t get into the room. There´s no hotel staff during the night.No-one answered any of the phone numbers. Booking.com could´t help either. The receptionist finally came to let me in in the morning, after 8AM. This is the first time this has happened to me anywhere in the world.
I love the modern facilities equipped in our room. I love the location that it is just 5 mins away walking towards several halal restaurants behind the hotel. One staff in particular was very very friendly and welcoming.
No internet connection from our 2nd night stay onwards, not sure if this was due to us being at the very top floor. Since we were at the top floor the room is slightly cramp and yet we pay the same price per night with our relative who got a room one floor below us which was slightly spacious than ours. No lift and walking up the top floor with toddlers can be challenging.
Fairly spacious room with double and single bed, kitchenette, close to Bayswater tube.
Having to climb up three flights of stairs with my suitcase.
no kitchenette facilities stains in bed runner shower head scaled stains on walls location quite rough at night didnt feel particularly safe wifi was intermittent
Good location near Hyde Park & Queen's Way. the room has air condition. Free WIFI. Complete but modest kitchen.
Poor furniture. Stain on ceiling. Cockroach in room. No facial tissue in room. Bad check out policy : must give 3 days notice, desperate policy to force customers to stay.
the location of the hotel was excellent for the Tube and was within walking distance for Hyde Park ,Kensington Palace, T he Royal Albert Hall etc.
Noise from the flat above ours.
