TV didn't work. Couldn't communicate with housekeeper as she didn't speak English although she tried to help. Hairs and bits of fluff in corners of rooms.
The wifi worked. The room is spacious. Modern washroom.
Located on noisy street. In summer, with window open as there is no AC, it gets very noisy at night! The place was not maintained well. There were stains on the ceiling and the cutleries looked overused with stubborn stains. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable bed - you can feel the spring and it sunk in the middle so I slept in a "U" position.
Location couldn't be better for three times the money you couldn't be closer to Paddington and Hyde park, apartment was great.
The neighbours who you could hear rather too well were screaming and shouting at night which you would not expect. They also didn't bother to send me the details to get into the apartment, nor did they attempt to contact me beforehand. So when we turned up it we had to call bookings.com to resolve the issue. Their admin department are certainly incompetent.

Our family room was fairly spacious, clean and comfortable with modern amenities.
No dishwasher, but the only really bad thing is this inner yard of the house which amplifies all the sounds coming from other apartments day and night. During our stay we were unlucky to have 2 unbelievably loud and rather uncivilised ladies in the basement apartment who seemed completely unaware of other people. Otherwise everything was OK.

We were pleasantly surprised to have a separate lounge area; so the flat was larger than we expected. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The instructions for check in were very clear.
It would be useful to have some tourist information in the rooms; as there is no reception area.Just a map of the underground tube station would be great.

The system is not perfect, and the staff are wary of people getting angry with the system, so have become defensive. However if the right attitude is struck, everything works and the staff are helpful.
Location was great, clean, easy access to transportation.
When we arrived, there's was no electricity in our room. We had to call the staff about this and at first the problem couldn't be solved. Later that evening, we were transferred to another room but the following day we received another text from the staff that they want to move us back to the first room. Fortunately, the problem was solved and we didn't have to move again (it took us some more calls and messaging to the staff) but that did cost quite a lot of nerves. The staff apologized for the inconvenience with a bottle of champagne, however, we would have been happier if the problems were solved quicker.

Central location. friendly housekeeper allowed us to leave our bags in early. clean bathrooms. We were travelling with 6 month old baby and travel cot was provided.
noise levels. v loud group of people running up and down stairs in middle of night. party going on in their apartment. also v hot and no air conditioning or fans. but we would book there again.
Close to Paddington station.
When we arrived there was only 2 of some cutlery/bowls even though we stated we were a company of 3. You would think common sense would prevail. Also, there was a problem with the alarm my husband had to organize to turn it off by calling the owner. This happened on 2 occasions weren't very happy about this as we had to pay for the call and it will put us out of pocket!

Self-check in is a nice thing. Everything was clean, and the location is very good.
I did not get a reply after opting for check-in and check-out an hour later through Booking.com. Also, since there's no reception staff, it's impossible to ask for some additional service, like store your luggage (you'll have to pay additional 50 pounds or even full price for leaving it in the room after you check-out). This is highly inconvenient. The window in the bedroom is incontrollable, and you have to put something on the frame to keep it open for the night.
