The club bar was nice...no one was ever there!
Gym was pretty basic, but I didn't bring my shoes.
Service Food Location Staff Quality
Twin bed was on rollers and I leaned against it and almost fell down.
Nice size room. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Clean rooms.
Too hot in the rooms (even with the aircon). Pillows very uncomfortable. Cleaning / housekeeping staff kept coming into the room even when the "Do Not Disturb" sign was on the door (3 times in one evening and again the following morning).
The room and bathroom was fantastic
The hotel was well kept and the staff friendly. We had a balcony room and access to the club room which enhanced our stay. We spent five days and enjoyed our time there. The bus runs along Fleet Street and we were able to reach most of the major sights in London.
No complaints. The Apex was a great choice.
We were upgraded and the room was great and comfortable. As we went for leisure not having internet was not so dramatic
Internet was not available during our stay Trying to find the location with Iphone was not a good idea
The hotel is located on the Fleet Street which is in the financial district. So, during the weekend, the street becomes very quiet and most of the restaurants and shops are close. The hotel is very pretty, clean and tidy.
Just one thing about when we checked out on our last day. Since we had an early flight, we checked out at 5am. The gentleman at the reception was not helpful at all, only starring at us and watching his lady colleague to help us to carry our luggages to the front entrance and waiting for taxi. He should at least offer us a help even though his lady colleague was very attentive and immediate.
This hotel is a gem. Tucked away off Fleet Street, a 10 minute walk to Covent Garden, 2 minutes to the river, 10 minutes to St Paul's. The facilities in the hotel are very good, breakfast tasty, good selection at the bar and a Club Lounge. Excellent bed and bathroom - quiet and restful. Staff helpful and attentive without being fussy or stuffy. Really recommended!
- location, location, location - friendly, helpful, professional staff - facilities are top-notch - cleanliness - overall, one of the best places we've stayed on our many trips to London
- once or twice, the people at the desk gave us erroneous information
Efficient and polite staff, clean and comfortable facilities, including nice bar downstairs. A peaceful oasis in the heart of London. Handy to the sights, underground, bus, pubs and restaurants.
A bit expensive, but a quality site.
there was nothing not to like
Our room was spacious and very clean. The sunken bath and large walk-in shower were amazing. Gym was very clean also.
The air con did not work as we hoped - our room was either too hot or too cold.
Helpful Liam at reception who helped us get a decent room for our stay. Our much nicer Superior room (no 334).
The fact that the window in our first room overlooked the private balcony of other guests staying in a superior room!
Staff Rooms Location
nothing, it was just perfect
Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable, very good value for London
We stayed for 2 nights for my partners birthday which I mentioned when booking.... When we arrived there was a lovely birthday message and chocolates for him. The rooms are decorated to a high standard and are very modern. The staff are very attentive and friendly. It was my partners first time in London and he really enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend.
On the morning of departure we were interrupted twice (before checkout time), once by a member of staff who apologised after I opened the door whilst she was trying to enter and once by an external maintenance man who was measuring the windows, he also had a key card to enter our room which he was just about to use before I opened the door.... we wasn't happy about this. I rang reception who apologised for the interruptions.
Quality fitout bed and bath Beer in the courtyard after a Long day Opening windows bed and bath Central to main attractions Friendly staff
Got a free upgrade as it was my husband's birthday. Fantastic bathroom....and free duck to take home!
Safe didn't work initially but was fixed after a couple of calls. Building work started too early on Monday morning but we left for work early so didn't bother us, but would have been a pain if we wanted a lie in.
Great location. Perfect room. Nice facilities and cozy bar.
We had to tell the staff twice that one of our TV's did not work.
Situated in great spot st Paul's 2 mins up the road loads of cafes and bars on door step plus walking distance to some great places .. hotel itself beautiful beds massive staff very helpful would definitely stay again
Location , the staff were very helpful
The room is little bit small
Good quality of food, rooms are very well designed, friendly staff, clean. Very well situated nearby St. Paul's and Blackfriar station.
Staff very friendly and efficient, bedrooms very well designed with lovely bathroom. Location perfect for the city and west end. Marvellous bus service from right outside the door. Quiet at night.
We had a faultless stay. Cant think of anything I didn't like.
Location; close to dining and transportation; and excellent staff.
There was nothing I disliked.
Staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located on Fleet Street, and within a very easy walk to St. Paul's Cathedral and the Embankment. Buckingham Palace was about a 40 minute trek. If you're not a rambler, there are plenty of buses that pass by the hotel, as well as two nearby tube stations.
I upgraded to a suite which was rather small considering the extra expense. I expected something more of a bang for the buck. However, the room was very comfortable.
