great all rounder loved everything great location great breakfast good drinks
Staff were very friendly Ideally located Good views Nice (but small) room
Pool was full of lazy hangers on Poor quality muffins with Eggs Benedict Patchy wifi
good location next to Princes Street and Waverley
The space to hang clothes was too small. There was not room for one person's clothes never mind two
A nice hotel in a good location. The wifi was particularly good. Unusual to have quality wifi in hotels.
Nothing that we didn't like. This hotel is a good choice.
For the price I expected something basic for city centre. It's not! Hotel is lovely, staff were great, food was excellent, rooms good size and spotless. Definitely stay again.
the b/fast and the helpfulness of staff
Free Duck!!! Staff Friendly and helpful Good pool and sauna/heat room facilities Good gym facilities Great food from the restaurant Beds large and spacious.
Super location Beautiful building Modern facilities
A bit pricy Not much choice for breakfast
Very good location. Good reception staff Good breakfast staff Very comfortable bed
No heating in the bathroom The water was tepid Could not open the windows The view was a concrete wall The coffee was undrinkable Very expensive
The room was a deluxe, loved the view and although central, quieter location of the city centre, peaceful and restful, beds luxurious feel as well as pillows.
The heat in the room
Beds were comfortable, location was close enough to the fringe but without the noise.
This is classified as a luxury hotel, but doesn't have any of the amenities of one, no slippers, robes, lacking mini-fridge, etc.
quiet room. friendly helpful staff. Huge bed.
back room so disappointing view.
Grand exterior with contemporary interior decor. Really good location near Waverley rail station. Tram stop nearby and Waterloo Place where the hotel is situated is just an extension of Princes Street. Hotel is in a quiet location. Enjoyed use of the swimming pool. The breakfast is relatively expensive, but worth it. The light and airy breakfast/dining room is a highlight. Altogether a very enjoyable stay with excellent and friendly service.
Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet room.
Great staff, very helpful. Spa not luxurious but nice.
The first room had the window next to a container dump! I could not believe it and asked for another room. We were then given a room with a disabled bathroom but it was better than the first one.
Every thing was perfect, location, staff were very helpful. Food was excellent. Room was spacious and very clean. Highly recommended. Free Wifi .
Staff were friendly and service a very good standard..
luxury, quiet and large room, pool, free mini bar food, bath
breakfast order not collected
I liked the location of this hotel - within walking distance from Waverley station, (10mins), shopping (2mins), car parks (10 mins)and the Royal Mile (15 mins). Very friendlly, efficient staff. Clean, comfortable rooms and great facilities - swimming pool, spa and sauna. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location Staff are polite compared to London Room are spacious compared to London Everything is great
Pool and sauna, comfortable room, convenient location. Umbrellas and facility for leaving luggage helped us a lot. Friendly and efficient reception. Quiet room allocated as requested on booking.
Some of bar staff were a little inattentive (one was very good and remembered our orders from the previous evening, however) and bar could have more cosy armchairs. Queue for breakfast was too long but service once inside was fine.
The room is of reasonable size with a good view. The breakfast is good and staff at the restaurant are friendly.
Nothing really important
Very central . Staff lovely.
