Location,comfort,cleanliness,efficiency

I liked the friendly staff especially reception,and the spa was 1st class,as was our breakfast.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now,and we were on the second floor this trip,but in the past I have been on the 5th floor which I would have been happier if I had been there this time.

Beatiful Hotel, Great Architecture, with swimming pool. Helpful staff, wrongly assigned to a room with stairs although we had a pram, staff moved us to another room promptly

Was told at desk that check out was at 5pm (unheard before), turned out it was 11am, otherwise all perfect. Breakfast buffet with little variety but otherwise can order a la carte.

Service everywhere in the hotel was friendly and excellent. Rooms and bathroom first class. Food pricey but very high quality and staff happy to accommodate personal tastes.

Very expensive drinks prices especially wines, cheaper to drink spirits and cocktails than house wine!! Pity the Spa at this hotel doesn't offer manicure and pedicure treatments in their range

I do not believe that the expense for the room was justified I was expecting more for my money, poor show.

The staff didn't mention the room upgrade or the late checkout,though ibought that option. I expected the staff to tell that no room was available. They acted as I never booked the option so they could not Give me the upgrade

Friendly, happy, polite staff going that extra mile for residents. Not always the case in other hotels. Great customer training !!!

1 tiny point to consider, often service so good cooked breakfast arrived before had finished cereal/ fruit, so table little overcrowded and cooked food began cooling.

Very beautiful hotel in perfect location at the end of Princess Street and not far from Calton Hill. Ideal for romantic walkings around the top Edinburgh attractions. We spent there lovely 3 nights during Easter, everything was good, staff very polite and helpful. Beautiful room with all the expected facilities. I would recommend to everybody.

Cold in bathroom, sauna was being closing at 21:30, but should be at 22:00.

Room was bright, airy and comfortable. Tea / Coffee tray included crisps & jelly babies as well as nice biscuits. Breakfast was cooked to order. All staff met you with a smile. Less than five minutes walk from Waverley station. Lovely changing rooms for gym and pool.

Swimming Pool a bit small and claustrophobic.

The rooms were very comfortable and good amenities in the room.

Very expensive breakfast for not very much at all. Very disappointed with it, considering about 3 doors down you can get a much cheaper and better breakfast.

The best location. The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean and tidy everyday. The bus stop from the airport is a 2 minute walk to the hotel. You will really don't regret your booking at Apex Waterloo Place Hotel.

Everything. This hotel is perfect, the food is good and reasonable. This is the second time we´ve stayed here and we won´t stay anywhere else the next time!

The bath room design is great, area differentiate bath tub and shower.

It was very central and very relaxing our bedroom was very comfortable never heard a sound. Enjoyed our stay we were there for three nights.Staff were great

At the end of the airport bus line, close to the city centre, clean, comfortable, gym & sauna, value for money, very helpful (we asked for a tea bag and they also brought biscuits!!)

The bedroom was lovely and the bathroom was very spacious, not been in a hotel with such a nice bathroom! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The duvet was too small I thought, nearly didn't cover all of me. And I asked for a double bed but received two twins stuck together with two single duvets.
