We were only there one night but the reception staff could not have been more helpful. The room was lovely although for a premier room it was a bit small on only one comfy chair. We had a very good nights sleep and will stay again if the ocassion requires us to be in edinburgh again.

It was in the perfect location, a stone throw away from bars, restaurants and shops. We were upgraded on arrival and had a view of the castle which was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and look forward to returning.

Good location. The bathroom had not been cleaned. I found a pubic hair by the bath, head hair in the bath and the shower had soap/shampoo splatters on the walls. Although minor, finding the pubic hair didn't particularly make me want to use the bath. The receptionist encouraged me to provide this feedback at check-out though, which I did. I hope the hotel has looked into this.

Brilliant Location, Helpful staff. Pleasant stay but dissappointed to find the previous occupants milk etc in the fridge, also the toilet area smelled of urine. Hoped that the first clean would take care of these things but it didn'T.

Very conveniently positioned for seeing Edinburgh, also very good value for money. The staff were very helpfull and friendly and as we were on holiday with a 3yr old the comfort of the room was very important to us and we were not dissappointed. Would definatly stay again. We didn't have breakfast at the Apex so I cannot comment. So really I don't have anything negative to say.

Super staff, allowed us to book in early and even gave us a choice of rooms. Breakfast great value at £10 if you book the night before. All round excellent We had asked for a room with a view of the castle which was at the front of the hotel. A little noisy with revellers during the night but hey what do you expect a few nights before hogmanny

Ou room was double booked and after a nights stay at a sister hotel, we were upgraded and given compementary wine and breakfast. Even without this, our stay would have been wonderful due to the politeness off staff and great location. Definitely will stay again.
