Pillows! Brilliant sleep, everything great.
Nothing, all good.
Location Room Bathroom furnishings staff good wifi good restaurants nearby reasonable car parking fee
It was very good, nothing to dislike
Central location, lots of places to eat nearby and within easy reach of castle & other attractions
Location, despite the noise from the drinkers and the noise of early street cleaning.
Staff too often inefficient and not polite at all. Certainly badly managed and probably poorly paid.
location and staff were great.
no air conditioning in the hotel rooms.
Given wrong room key initially but resolved without hassle after dragging my case back down to reception!
On arrival to the hotel at 11pm we still got a wonderful greeting and even the offer of their late night menu straight away which was very much appreciated. The room was a good size, clean and we got a very comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, attentive service and a good choice of hot and buffet options. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, efficient elevators and a great breakfast. The hop-on hop-off bus and public buses stopped nearby.
Everything we wanted to go to was uphill!:-)
Comfortable rooms, good location and nice staff
location, room standards, helpfulness
Friendly staff, very nice and clean room, good location!
Noisy at night.
Very good location and parking.
Noicey outside our room window that was over the parking lot ... Banging of cans and trolleys while being moved around at night.
Quality of sleep Food
The location was excellent and our room had a view of the castle. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.
The rooms were clean and tidy
Single beds The rooms were too hot even with window open The facilities were basic for the price have stayed in The centre of London for cheaper and better rooms
location, staff very helpful, comfortable clean room
Near to the sights. Excellent staff. Clean.
No negatives, perhaps a larger lounge but that is out of your control
location cleanliness comfortable bed friendly, helpful staff
This hospital is a little pricey, but the location is fabulous! Walking distance to all major attractions in Edinburgh. The staff were terrific, the room was lovely, and breakfast was great. The amazing location is definitely the highlight!
Great location and breakfast , stayed in room 3107 which was good size with wonderfully large bed. Staff very helpful.
Room right next to fire door which banged every time someone used it . A soft close mechanism would solve this .Banging drove us nuts at times reported to staff but not resolved.
Location was its strong point
Double booked us in a room already occupied, staff did however give their apologies and gave us a free drink at the bar. Hotel felt a little over priced for its general decor and quality, we stayed in the Raddisson in Manchester few days before and that was just an entirely better hotel in all respects.
Great location Good breakfast (included in our package) Friendly staff Quiet room (at back of hotel)
No air con. Rooms received a lot of sunlight and became very warm.
My husband and I selected Edinburgh and the Apex City Hotel as the place to celebrate our 46th anniversary. We were treated so special the entire stay. We were given a room with a Minster view, and a bottle of wine, candy and a welcoming note were waiting for us in our room. On our anniversary, we were given a coupon for two free drinks, and another letter of congratulations! The hotel is situated in a perfect spot in the Grassmarket area, close to the Royal Mile, but with castle views. There are many restaurants in this area.
The location was fantastic, and the staff were very polite, professional and helpful.
The rooms are a bit dated, and could do with a refresh.
Helpful staff Nice rooms Restaurant good value and has excellent food, including breakfast cooked to order.
No aircon. Quite noisy. No safe in rooms.
