Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa  

The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent and the reception and waiting staff are very helpful and pleasant.

I don't like the way the cleaning staff use the guest lifts with their trolleys and do not give way to guests.

Lovely room with view, clean, comfy, spa (used gym and pool every day) good parking and lots disabled space. Good value 3 nights stay for son's wedding.

Excellent pool, good size rooms, comfortable beds, great location, within few minutes walk of city centre, fine view of the river.

The road outside was being dug up, incredibly noisy we had to change rooms in the middle of the night as it was impossible to sleep. The staff were very helpful and moved us immediately and apologised in the morning as they hadn't been informed by the coucil as to the overnight works.

It's location is perfect for shopping & for going out to eat. The facilities looked good although we were only there for an overnight stay & didn't use any of them. Good selection of food for breakfast.

In the room that we were allocated (133) we could hear very loud music from the function room below it.We had to turn up the television quite loud in order to hear it above the noise coming from the function room. Thankfully we were going out for dinner & by the time we got back the music had stopped.

I booked this Hotel as a surprise for my sister and her close friend also accompanied us. We had an amazing time as the service was 1st class: there was always someone available to assist us with our requirements for our stay; the staff were professional and friendly and keen to ensure our stay was comfortable. The food was oustanding and we particularyly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The staff kindly decorated the breakfast table with birthday decorations. The Hotel also arranged for flowers to be in the bedroom as a present to my sister. They were very helpful , even prior to our stay. We had a fantastic few over the river and the bedding extremely cosy and comfortable. The furnishings were modern and luxurious and the room itself immaculate. We also used the facilities and had beauty treatments, all first class. Many thanks, it was a very special time and your Hotel was perfect.

The only minor improvements would be more sockets in the rooms at the dresser for electrical applicances , a good mirror with a light for doing make up and also the bar area seemed strange being at reception and lifts, a proper bar area would have been good. However, we had a great time and the restaurant booths were fantastic.

Excellent choice of hotel bathroom sumptios and so clean bedding pillows wonderful great food reasonablly priced dished out easter bunnies on arrival and easter eggs on sunday

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely view. The Apex Hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre of Dundee. Unfortunetly I did not get to use the swimming pool or spa but my sister did and really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend the Apex and will stay ther next time I am in Dundee

Friends wedding in hotel ,great food great day out, great company ,great sevice,all in all,great experience, only downside,only one lift working long delay getting to fifth floor, found it quicker using stairs aged 61years

I would have liked a full length mirroe

I liked that there was a nice open reception/lounge to relax in when I returned from the days shopping or the outing. It was also convenient and central for shops and other amenities in Dundee. Luxury enough rooms to sleep in. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location, rooms high standard, bathrooms v clean and staff friendly

They have changed from hot buffet breakfast to waitress service...very unimpressed as time in the morning is tight

Room was lovely and very comfortable . Food was not so good though
