Soft comfortable pillows so much better than the hard foam filled pillows you find in most hotels. The food was freshly cooked and of a very high standard. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and our room was kept very clean. The bus stop was right outside the hotel making journeys to the town centre very easy and convenient.
Hotel rooms were excellent clean and comfortable. Hotel receptionist were helpful and friendly.
Close to city centre and free parking
Breakfast was poor for the price. Glass in bathroom not cleaned. Water still in glass from previous occupant. Lack of milk for tea/coffee in room.
Room, Food, Atmosphere and Location. Good Attentive Staff.
This is now the 3rd time I've stayed at apex haymarket. I love this hotel. The location is really good as it's a nice walk to princess street. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be staying again
The friendly and helpful staff from the reception waiter/waitress /chambermaids could not do enough for you, location was excellent a 15min walk to princess street
Was not impressed with the continantial breakfast cheese curled up and dried cold meats not very appitizing could have had a better selection coffee just warm not hot
Nice quite location
Bed mattress not very comfortable
Close to city center Easy access to transport for the airport
Bedrooms a tad short in space
close to Haymarket station and excellent for local transport and to the airport staff were responsive and friendly in a small, modern hotel with a nice bar, restaurant
Central location. Easy walk to City Centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast good with a good variety of hot and cold food
Road noise at front of hotel. Restaurant evening food was not good - would not eat there again in the evening.
The noise that woke me up at 6am with the staff banging bowls and cutlery and i went to complain and nothing was done about the noise so had to get up and ready and leave
Location, cleanliness, friendliness
Great location a very walkable distance from Haymarket station and the conference centre. Reception and restaurant staff all very helpful
Room was just big enough to walk around double bed with single window - too high to see out of - and road noise but for the price, a minor inconvenience.
Nice style of hotel and rooms Good breakfast Friendly and professional service Very clean throughout Hassle free
Friendly staff and really comfortable beds!
Friendly staff. Handy for Haymarket Station and trams.
Staff room door next to our room banging continuously at 6am.
This was slightly less crazy prices than some places. Everything was pretty well what you'd expect from a business hotel. Loved the rubber duck!! Good bus service right outside the door into the city centre.
Lovely friendly hotel just on the outskirts of the city centre. We got taxis everywhere but it was also a short walk from hay market station or a walk into the centre. Staff could not have been more helpful when giving advice. Hotel was nice and quiet with comfy beds for a good nights sleep. Staff were able to keep our suitcases safe on the last day so that we didn't have to drag them around. All in all a good experience :)
Good location, clean, rooms nice
printer to print out boarding passes was broken.
Newer, refurbished rooms are sleek and comfy with in-room coffee/tea and snacks. Lovely small touches such as a note to welcome and a pink rubber ducky (named Floyd) in the modern-designed bathrooms. Restaurant with options for a continental breakfast or English breakfast. Excellent staff.
No complaints whatsoever!
I was very pleased with the hotel itself, the people who worked there, and the quality of the room. The hotel was very convenient to the bus for travel throughout Edinburgh, and the Airtrain for travel to and from the airport. It was also close to the train station and ATM machines.
The hotel was about a 20 minute walk to the old city and the Edinburgh museums and more than 20 minutes to Holyrood. Guests have to use the bus or taxi to get to such locations unless they like to walk.
I liked the staff - Monica was especially helpful. I liked the room decor. The bathroom was really nice and worked very well. The shower was excellent. Water, coffee, tea ,hot chocolate and biscuits were provided. The bed was really comfortable.A pen, bottle opener and 4 glasses were provided also. The room was thoughtfully planned.
There was not enough room at the end of the bed to have two chairs at the desk. The window did not open enough.
Lovely Hotel & a good experience. Will stay again
A bit out of the way.
