Receptionist on arrival helpful and pleasant as were the other members of staff in the gym area and snack bar next to recreation area.
Car parking not ideal and cramped
Good location.Friendly staff.Indoor pool.
Air con unit stuck on a flat roof outside my room buzzed all night.Had to keep the window shut.
Friendly man at check in. Very helpful.
No extractor fan in bathroom, room 135.
Very clean room. Excellent breakfast.
Lack of extractor in bathroom
5min walk to the town centre ideal location. access to roads to travel around the island with free car parking. Breakfast was excellent. Pool area and garden wonderfully peaceful to relax. The Boot and Ball pub and the Pizzaria excellent.
Some areas could do with a face lift but did not distract from a wonderful stay
Convenient clean great breakfast room with balcony tea/coffee in room comfy bed no entertainment
no air con would not stay in hot weather
I liked everything about the Apollo. I have stayed there before but never before on my own. The staff were excellent without being intrusive. I will absolutely be back. the location is super and it was nice to see many of the same staff still there - a sign of a good hotel if ever there was one. It was very clean indeed.
Staff- really helpful from reception to porters, restaurant!
The hotel is dated, the decor needs updating
Staff very helpful and friendly bedroom basic but clean and tidy
Bedroom a bit noisy we were on 2nd floor a lot of banging around and echoing also could hear talking in bedroom next door breakfast room rather dated could do with a revamp
Friendly staff. Good service Breakfast
Bathroom needs a refurb Buffet dinners
The outdoor pool; the warm indoor pool; the quietness in the hotel considering it was in town; pleasant helpful staff; food choices.
The wifi was somewhat erratic.
Just about everything the Apollo had to offer.Spotlessly clean, a good standard of food, and a very efficient and pleasant staff - particularly in the restaurant where we received cheerful and prompt service at all times. We wanted a restful holiday and the Apollo gave us everything we needed. A week of continuous sunshine was a bonus!
Cannot think of anything, other than we were glad that we had been given a room overlooking the garden at the rear of the hotel. St. Saviour's road at the front is very busy and noisy.
Friendly and helpful staff and central location.
Quiet location but within a few minutes walk from busy town centre. Staff were very friendly and attentive. would recommend this Hotel for mature couples looking for a relaxing break. Excellent value for money.
good food and staff
bathroom dated, room on front noisy from road
Location and lovely friendly helpful staff
Location, value for money
Breakfast was good but no fresh fruit. Bit repetitive every day the same. Room was good size but decor a little dated.
Great location, just off the town centre. Has all the facilities you need. Good sized rooms with en-suite. Very clean. Very helpful staff, particularly Claudia who way very helpful in arranging tour tickets for us.
I was on holiday with my daughter and grandson. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptional. My grandson is almost 1 year old. Every member of staff was helpful and pleasant and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant staff were particularly good and had a table with a highchair ready for us near the breakfast buffet every morning. When we arrived it was late morning and although check in was 2pm, the manager made sure our room was ready and allowed us in immediately. That was really helpful to a family with a small child. We had a nice big family room in a quiet location. The hotel was a short walk away from town which was ideal. We had a great holiday and would recommend the hotel to families.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. One criticism would be that the hotel décor is a bit dated both in the rooms and in the public areas. The food in the pizza restaurant was fine but again the surroundings were quite old fashioned.
The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Daily information sheets for what's on in Jersey. Excellent menus at reasonable prices, choice of restaurants. Being in the heart of St Helier, but its not noisy.
Clean well appointed and comfortable room. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Hotel in good location for shopping and eating out. Third time at this hotel and would use again without hesitation.
The situation, near the centre, offered easy access to shops and restaurants. The balcony overlooking the pool was pleasant. The restaurant staff were excellent.
Being disabled the many steps for getting around the hotel were difficult. The shower was in the bath - difficult to access if disabled. There was no air conditioning which, during the very warm weather, made the room suffocating. Although breakfasts were generally of a good standard only white bread and whole milk were provided. Average evening meals.
Easy booking system on the internet initial meeting with reception staff
The minestrone soup was awful lacked any real ingredients as it was claimed to be freshly made it was all liquid . The wi-fi did not work in room 137 ok in reception but not in room. Man delivering room service in the morning was a little lacking in Bon ami !!
Attentive staff, good coffee at breakfast. Buffet style breakfast with good choice. Easy access to pedestrian area of St Hellier.
Asked for a quiet room when making booking & given room overlooking pool but other guest would stay talking & smoking in pool area beyond 1am so we could not leave windows open. No air-con in rooms thus difficult to ventilate.
