Close to centre of St Helier, staff very obliging, own car park at rear. Rooms facing St Saviour's Road were very noisy with traffic & revellers, also the rooms were hot & stuffy (unable to open windows due to noise). Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke.

Parking for the hotel was available. The hotel was very tired. The pool area was smaller than I expected from the pictureson the website and had seagulls swimming in it. Room was a little shabby. The breakfast was not at all appetizing, there was nothing fresh, no fresh fruit just big bowls of tinned fruit swimming in their juices, no museli just sugar coated cereals and the hot breakfast was very unappealing.

The staff being very polite and helpful and the morning breakfast. The Mattress of the bed was too firm - gave my wife and I back ache and unable to get a good nights sleep.Although I asked for and received extra pillows, because they were so narrow in design, these too were uncomfortable and added to our being unable to get a good nights sleep. Our stay was over both the Christmas and New Year holiday period and despite my having selected a "Premier Room", on three nights, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day evenings, disco style music was played with that heavy bass Boom, Booming until the early hours - our room, despite being a so-called Premier Room, was immediately above the Disco equipment! The noise from this Disco was so loud, that we could neither hear the television or drown out this awful sound and of course, could not get to sleep until the Disco had stopped altogether. I did ask the D.J. on the Christmas Day, that if he was playing again, would he reduce the "Bass" sound, but he said he could not. I did not complain until I was leaving so as to not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests. But when I did put the question as to why a Disco would be placed immediately below a premier room to, I believe the manager, I was given short shrift - not what I would have expected. I paid my bill prior to putting my complaint, purely to show that I wasn't attempting to gain a reduction-though I am annoyed that I paid Premium rates for rather a very disappointed stay in Jersey

The location was good near to town and 10 min walk away from sea front the breakfast was good I recomend you only stay for bed and breakfast. One night we decided to eat our evening meal at the hotel if you have only booked for bed and breakfast you can pay for an evening meal wish we had not bothered the food was dreadful dried out and hard we felt sorry for those who had book fullboard as there meat where rock hard looked like it had been pre cooked and left all afternoon then warmed up for dinner service.

It was nearby to all the shops, bars and restaurants, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the receptionists were very helpful, although the attendant at the indoor pool was not so good and not very friendly towards us, not sure if she had a bad day but I certainly wouldnt approach her for help unless I wanted my head bitten off..all other staff were excellent though. The only thing I didnt like was that we had to check out of our room really early and the rude pool attendant :/

It was a very good hotel and some of the staff were polite. Also there was a range of food to choose at breakfast and there was a lot of places to eat like pizza and the bar etc. If you take children with you to the swimming pool indoor the children cant jump or sometimes even talk or play around! Also as we entered the co manger just rushed us when showing round, and when my husband was at the bar he would try to be nice so my husband would pay for him!

Have stayed in hotel 5 times - it's great. Reasonably priced with a fantastic breakfast! It's an easy walk into St Helier and has a great Indian restaurant directly opposite the front door. An excellent stay and will coming back soon. The bar should open earlier than 1800 hrs!

Two minute walk to the city centre and 15 minutes from the harbour. Room was comfortable with plenty of hot water for a deep bath after all that shopping. Great location and only £1.70 on the bus from the airport to Liberation station then a 10 minute walk to hotel (a great bus ride with plenty to see on the way) Bed was huge but not as comfortable as my own.

Ease of finding ones way around the hotel. Staff very helpful and always accommodating. Most of the staff have been there a long time so we get to know each other, which I feel counts for a lot, especially for staff to know you by name. Not too happy about self service meals. We like table service. However times change. Front house looking tired and needs redecorating?

Within easy walking distance to friends we were visiting, staff excellent, pizza bar food very good, quiet, can open windows and have access to proper fresh air(very important), lovely pools (although we didn't actually use them),easy access to shops and free parking. To be honest we booked on the web and primarily chose The Apollo because it was cheap, available and near to our friends - we were very pleasently surprised to find ourselves in a hotel that definately exceeded our expectations.Would definately return and happily recommend. Although close to the sea all walking opportunities are also on or alongside main roads - no chance to get away from these unless you drive out some way. No variation with breakfast menu. Rooms and bedlinen clean but bedlinen very worn and, like net curtains, badly need replacing.

Great location. 5 minute walk into the centre of St. Helier. Not bad but the Inn Boutique is better if you don't mind being slightly further from the town centre.
