The staff being very polite and helpful and the morning breakfast. The Mattress of the bed was too firm - gave my wife and I back ache and unable to get a good nights sleep.Although I asked for and received extra pillows, because they were so narrow in design, these too were uncomfortable and added to our being unable to get a good nights sleep. Our stay was over both the Christmas and New Year holiday period and despite my having selected a "Premier Room", on three nights, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day evenings, disco style music was played with that heavy bass Boom, Booming until the early hours - our room, despite being a so-called Premier Room, was immediately above the Disco equipment! The noise from this Disco was so loud, that we could neither hear the television or drown out this awful sound and of course, could not get to sleep until the Disco had stopped altogether. I did ask the D.J. on the Christmas Day, that if he was playing again, would he reduce the "Bass" sound, but he said he could not. I did not complain until I was leaving so as to not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests. But when I did put the question as to why a Disco would be placed immediately below a premier room to, I believe the manager, I was given short shrift - not what I would have expected. I paid my bill prior to putting my complaint, purely to show that I wasn't attempting to gain a reduction-though I am annoyed that I paid Premium rates for rather a very disappointed stay in Jersey

On first impressions, the hotel appears quite tired and old-fashioned. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel and rooms were spotless and the staff were second to none. They were helpful, polite and we did not have to worry about a thing. Many thanks Apollo. We had a lovely time.

The staff are friendly & helpful. The rooms i requested are of good size. The breakfast is very good. The location is very near but the parking is not easy to find if you are a visitor. The rioms are not soundproofed & I was worried that the noise my kids make would Disturb other guests.

The hotel was convenient for the town centre and walking to the beach front, museum's, Elizabeth castle , leisure activities, the hotel was clean, staff attentive and polite, the room was spacious and had the amenities required, there is a free car park which was a bonus. The hotel has an indoor pool which was useful as the weather was not too good and rainy. This is a good hotel if you want to be in reach of all the local amenities but you could also stay at the hotel and enjoy the facilities there if the weather was good you could relax around the outdoor pool. Price was good and you can book a evening meal which was great as did not have to brave the weather.

Friendly staff and good location. Disappointed with food, also the coffee shop was closed until 6pm, so no beverages available during the day. The room had a strange smell, maybe sour milk.

Room was big and comfortable. Good location. Quiet The bath wasnt big enough to drown a mouse. Pool was tiny and full of screaming, splashing children!! No sauna or adult pool. Cocktails were overpriced for their size and tasted watered down we could drink it in one gulp! Over all ok for a cheap night but wasnt overly happy with this hotel

Just a really goog value hotel in an excellent location, with the advantage of having own parking. I will certainly stay here again. Breakfast was excellent but the evening meal was very average.

Comfortable and clean and food was good The only criticism that we have is that the hotel is looking very tired and worn and is in need of a bit of T & C,with worn carpets and decor need looking at, Whilst the Reception staff were friendly and helpful the same could not be said of the Bar person, who was at best surly , was not even able to greet guests with a good evening or good day, was never heard to have a conversation other than with a colleague who was permanently at the end of the bar, and we were made to feel as if we were a bother.

Location was excellent, wonderful value for money. It was like a tardis. From entering the foyer of the hotel, it is amazing how big and really nicely decorated it is. Staff were very helpful, even having someone to take our bags and show us to our room. Facilities were great, its a shame we were only there for one night as we would have like to have been able to use the indoor pool area. I would recommend this hotel immensely The only criticism is that the car park is not clearly signed. I had to go into ask where it was.

The staff are very friendly and helpful the rooms although a bit dated had comfortable beds and tea/coffee making facilities. The pool was small but loveley for an early morning swim. The bathrooms are not brilliant, the over bath showers were very difficult to regulate. Although the rooms we had, 301-304 were in a little section by themselves which was great for us, they had obviously been occupied by smokers and smelled so bad that we had to have the windows open all the time.

Excellent location, close for shopping, also close to a lovely park, and within 10 minutes walk of Havre Des Par Beach. Bed was a little soft for me - but still comfortable, shower was a hit and miss with getting temperature correct, then it could still go cold, Bath was a little bit small
