Absolutely ridiculous stay away
Very close to underground station
I stayed there for 10days and my room was never cleaned. Also when I got there no one was around to open. I had to call and wait for some one to come
LOCATION IS NEAR TO UNDERGROUND STATION CLEAN ROOM VERY HELPFUL STAFF
private rooms close to the tube station close to the bus stop microwave and rice cooker were the only clean appliances in the kitchen
could hear everything around you on a busy street not in a good neighbourhood close to a loud street hard to sleep at night because of uncomfortable bed and the loudness of the street kitchen was dirty, dishes were okay but the pans were dirty kettle was dirty bathroom was dirty - the bath map was brown in areas and the air vent had a bunch of dust stuck to it stains on the rugs This property did not look like the pictures at all. Think they changed the property just for the pictures.
Really very good.
I can not complain, everything was great - staff, room, price!
area(East Ham), no main reception
Firstly they moved us to another house on the other side of the street and this one was not so good as the one on booking.com. It was dirty everywhere, we found hair and hairs in the bed, the bathroom was filthy, the carpet and the curtains were stained, the fire alarm was broken and hanging from the ceiling, our bedroom door didn't close, the wallpaper was stripped off. It seemed to be in a scrapyard.
cutlery and plates too little
Great price, very close to the underground and a street full of little shops and fast foods. Also Primark is few minutes away.
We didn't have hot water for 2 days until we found out that someone turned off the boiler. The phone number is sometimes unavailable.
-cozy rooms -good location (tube 2mins walk) -neighbourhood not so bad -well equipped kitchen For us it was a value deal, worth the price.
-for 2 days no hot water!! -few things need reconditioning: ceiling in bathroom, backyard
It is a good value place for people to live in.
helpful staff, could prepare our food if we wanted. very considerate group of people. easy to shop as there were lots of places in the area. close to the tube station too.
Location to staion was a 5 min walk. We booked a small double room but were upgraded to a bigger double room.
Don't book the small double room because you couldn't even fit your suitcase in the room with the double bed. Make sure that you confirm that the the owner would be there on your arrival. I didn't think that it was very professional that no one was there when you arrived. T.V. didn't work, we were told that the sattalight dish was broken??
the bed was comfortable
the fact it was a house the location the curtains came down of the rail
Leaving one day earlier than antisapated ..... Although we had paid for another night.
2 towels supplied for 2 people for 4 days....bathrooms were full of other peoples toiletries...room shown wasn't what we got...photos were not a true representation of the condition of the premises .... Would never recommend this place.
We were arranged to a somehow large room, although we booked a small double room.
1. You should first get a mobile phone in UK before you approach Apple Lodge. There is no any reception nor front desk to serve you. You have to wait in midst of a Pakistan-and-Indian community until someone emerges and leads you to a (rather random) house. You have to identify their staff on your own, however. 2. Be prepared: the building was broken, and it was totally different from what is described and pictured. The serious damage of the door lock somehow implies a burglary before. The window couldn't be open once it is shut. Rubbish bin was absent in the room. Nothing in the pantry was working properly. Shower was too weak. The carpet wasn't cleaned for ages, along with the worn decorations. The dirt over the entire building would just disguise you. No one would ever clean nothing for you. 3. Security was at stake. Lots of unemployed South Asians walked around the area. Some of them seem hostile and dangerous. It makes the short walk from tube station horrible. Nevertheless, it was alright when arriving Apple by dawn. 4. The fences embracing the Lodge were too short for a climb. A kid should use it to practice. Remember to shut your windows before going out. 5. The wall was paper-thin. The snore upstairs would wake you up in the morning. A slient room should be impossible. 6. The bed was uneven and thus uncomfortable. Dirty mattress. The ultra-soft pillow just doesn't suit us.
Close to the tube, but still need to take two different lines to get to the center. It takes about 30 min. There are many restaurants and shops in the area.
When we arrived, a guy from the staff takes us to different building down the road. The hostel was dirty and there was awful smell in the house. There was bugs in the toilets. The kitchen was dirty and there weren't really any vessels. Wouldn't recommend the place for anybody.
the comfort of the bed.
the upstairs shower barely worked, the room we were in was the smallest room and my boyfriend could lay on the bed and reach out and touch both walls width wise. we had very little room, especially with our luggage. As such, we found ourselves staying out right up until we were ready for bed and heading out fist thing in the morning to get out of the cramped room. had it been one person with one small bag, it would have been better, but not by much.
Proximity to tube station and value for money accommodation on London
Got to share a bathroom with another Guests in other 3 rooms, sometimes long waiting for the toilet.
Horrible, not cleaning,no reception service, furniture old and dirty. NEVER EVER!
poor cleanliness and shabby outdoors
Nearest tube station friendly staff, envierment and idal store.
Old model TV and remote is not working ground floor washroom is not good. Daily house keeping service is not avalible.
The light in the morning and the music of the birds it is just great ,its really clost of the underground station and lidl supermarket and the receptionist it was really nice the first and the only time he saw him...
The noise of the neighbothers, and some guests in the evening they look like making a party in the room, the shower can be a little bit better clean and you need fix the shower taps please.
Comfy bed, cosy room, nice layout and facilities, perfect location.
Cold taps didn't all work, burnt my mouth when brushing my teeth. The shower door was broken. Came home at 1am Sunday am and another guest had left both front doors open with a gang of people standing just 25/30 metres up the road.
