Had comfortable beds and two bathrooms
Both showers had to be hand held, shower hose needs replacing. Place could do with a spring clean.
Room without windows. We have to change twice during 7 days. We reserved room with bathroom, got room without bathroom. After 3 days we could change hotel and got room with bathroom unfortunately nonfunctional one. House smell really terribly. Mold in the bathroom.
The facility is spacious and quite quiet. Every one there was polite. The staff gave us so much privacy and it was quite quickly to settle as well everything was explained maybe in 5 minutes.
Upon arrival, the staff lasted several minutes and we had to catch with the rain because we were outside waiting for the keys. The cookware, namely the pot was rusted, so it need to be renewed as well other kitchenware is missing like fork and knife. thankfully people eat most of the time out, because the dishes is just for a couple knowing that the facility has four room and could be there 8 person. The facility seem as a normal house, since at arrival we had doubt whether is there the house we had seen on internet last day, it should have some panel which could be more easy to identify it.
The personel was kind.
The toilette in our room was very unclean and a lot less comfortable than the one on the photos. Only one, small duvet in a two-person bed. The bedsheet was smaller than the bed. Hygiene was very poor in our room.
No Tv. Price of room increased on arrival. Filthy bathrooms. Huge damp patch on room ceiling.. list could go on. Avoid this place
Comfy bed Fairly close to tube station
Mouldy ceiling No TV in room No towels provided Bathrooms v poor... The downstairs has a shower door as the main door and it's right next to the kitchen... I am. Comfortable with a walk in shower but this is gross... U stand beside the toilet.
I would say it was nice place with good value for money. Good if you you want to save wonga
just few more pots in kitchen please
They don't do recipes of the booking prize (pay tax for nothing)
It is cheap compare to other places in London.
There was mouse running around in our room. The neighborhood is really messy and kind of scary, full of weird people. Our room had paper tin walls so we could hear everything from the other room. There was another couple in the room next door... Price is good for London but the less you pay the less you get. The place is nothing like the pictures here!!! Only kitchen is suitable.
We stayed at this place because of our budget and we were surprised by the room size it was very decent size given the price we paid. WIFI was good, access to kitchen saved us more on eating out. Bed was good and made well.
More of towels please
It was overpriced for facilities and had to wait around to get a key. Noisy children that ran around until late evening. Bathroom was dirty
the tranquility of the room and although the area is poor and without great tourist interest, there is still a social interest as a large mix of very nice people. The use of the kitchen was an added benefit, although the latter was not very clean, nor elements to use.
when we arrived at the address, there was no indication that it was the only hotel ... no sign! We talked with nice neighbors who have tried to help us by calling the telephone No. but we had not met. we started to panic thinking it was a scam. neighbors had no idea that there was a hotel in this street. we had to call our booking agency who reminded us after some time, to confirm that it was there. Meanwhile we noticed a telephone number on the front door, we called and someone quite friendly and outgoing, fortunately, came to hand over the keys. the room was not too bad, but she surprised when we saw that the shower was in the toilets with a small and not very clean sink and a sponge all that was lying on the floor behind the toilet with a very poor water drainage, ceiling bulb unprotected therefore quite dangerous, no toilet paper, one towel for two which seemed not very clean. too far from central London (40 minutes) even if there is a direct subway. Moreover, it is better than the train journey as suggested booking.com
Location: very close to Eastham station
Vat was extra on room prices. Straight up 20% more. The room that seemed value for money at time of booking became expensive because of extra VAT.
The room was ok with sofa and bed comfy.
The big problem was NO STAFF ON SITE. I had to check people in for them 2-3 times. I was in the front room and so had people knocking on my window as well as the front door to be checked in just about every day. People were turning up without the hotel phone number or a smart phone with which to access it and so I had to call the office for them to get someone to come down to check the . I capitulated twice; at other times other guests did their 'duty'. The solution: put the hotel phone number on the front door: 'To check in, please ring...'
no sign on the premise had to call owner to get in and wait 30 min for him to arrive very far from the center (4 zone) messy and not clean shower and toilet in the same little room
unclear and so far from london
Rats in the kitchen. Rats in the bedroom. Rats in the garden. Does not include VAT, so watch out for the price, you have to pay more when you meet the owner.
Too expensive for amenities
-the wifi was really good, and the lock on the door was quite safe.
-the neighborhood is loud and crowded. fellow women, be sure to bring leggings and not to cross the streets not even in midi skirts unless you want everyone to look down on you. -there was no staff to expect the guests, it was very chaotic at first.
The bed room
location diffictly Of the location
Bed Bugs everywhere on the bed. This is unacceptable at all. Got home with bed bugs in personal belongings. Bad experience!!
Free wifi and the owner was pleasent.
My room smelt of smoke even though it was described as a non smoking hotel, The shower was terrible. The hose didn't reach the holder so I had to constantly hold the shower.
Had access to a kitchen which was great and the bed was comfortable.
Super dusty, could use with a good hoover and general clean, there was no Daily room service and the bathroom downstairs was terrible.
