Appleton Lodge is centrally located, close to all major Blackpool attractions. There are tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, and there is a licensed bar, a TV lounge and free Wi-Fi. Each basic room at The Appleton have wash basins and towels, and there are ample shared bathroom/shower facilities. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are also available. Welcoming friendly staff, nhs spray was a good idea, good bathroom facility and nice food. Light coming into the room at night as was difficult to sleep but can easily be solved with blinds

Jenny and Iain were more then kind. They are absolutely lovely and helpful people. We were in their hotel for 5 days and we really enjoyed it. For the money the value is absolutely awesome. If we go next year again we will definetly go to the Appleton Lodge Our only problem was the internet connection its performed very poorly.

It was friendly and welcoming and offered value for money. The bathroom facilities could be improved - the shower had leaked onto the floor and there was a puddle to get across to the toilet

The hotel did what it said on the tin. Porvided an exceptional stay for the cost. The proprietors couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful and were particularly accomodating of the youngster in our party. Would recommend to family n friends and we will certainly go again.

Very welcoming , staff could not do more to go out there way and make our stay any better ! Bit of a walk to the pleasure beach but very close to tower and pubs and clubs , would defiently return very good value for money !:)

Last minute availability. I was expected and all paperwork was in order. There was a friendly welcome, full of useful information. It's the sort of small, personal hotel where guests are treated as friends. Bar snacks and drinks are available a very reasonable prices. The breakfast was efficiently served and well cooked. I missed not having a television in my room. But I was able to watch the TV in the bar and was given the remote control to select what I wanted to watch.

The couple that run the hotel are extremely helpful and nice. They will go out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. Breakfast was at 9am but when we said we were leaving at 7:30 they were more than happy to provide a breakfast before we left. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious with ample toilet facilities. These have a premium on cleanliness so sharing not a problem. The only thing missing is a tv in our room. However the lounge downstairs was absolutely fine and even has a bar too.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and tidy. We were made to feel at ease instantly. Our breakfast was very good. You had plenty of choice and were offered coffee and toast in abundance. All in all, very good place to stay for location and price. The only downfall for us is that there was no T.V in the room

Me and my friend pete stayed at the appleton for 1 night we found the hotel clean tidy and friendly staff. We liked the fact we could check in earlier as stated and had a little extra time to do what we wanted to do on the last day in blackpool the breakfast was also nice too just what we needed after a night on the town
