Pickup service was vary nice and convenient. The room seems to be a bit small honestly. The distance between the house and the city centre is a bit far. However, there is a very beautiful park where u can visit and enjoy the walking experience. Overall, this guest house is quite valuable. Because it is in Bath spa.

~All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, from the young girl who gave us detailed and perfect instructions on how to get to the hotel, to the owner, who was a delight, and the breakfast staff, who could not have been more helpful. The room was large and every item needed was available. Very comfortable and the breakfast was a delight.

We had a large double room with single bed as well. Would be good for a small family. The room was very good, spotlessly clean. Bed was firm which we like. Breakfast was very good. We would certainly stay there again. There was plenty of off road parking when we stayed and a very good bus service into Bath which we used.

The room was spacous and very clean. The breakfast delightful. The staff were helpful and friendly, even taking my luggage to the railway station saving me a walk back to the motel. I highly reccomend this Hotel and would happily stay there again.

The owners were obviously justifiably proud of their establishment and were attentive, cheerful, positive and professional. The staff employed had obviously been hand selected and made evey effort to meet the needs of the clients.

I was impressed by the friendly welcome and the clean and well-appointed room. Everything you could need was provided - TV, free WIFI access, free use of PC with Internet, hairdryer, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, face towels, iron and ironing board, and more. There was a good choice of breakfast options and the food was excellent. I had the annexe at the rear of the property (not the single room with external private bathroom as listed below), which is a spacious self-contained double room, cozy and very quiet. I highly recommend this guest house.

No expense spared by the owners to make the place as comfortable as possible. Stayed in the Dr. Oliver Room which was an annex to the main property. Decor was very nice. Lots of little comforts such as an ipad docking stereo next to the bed, tv. Clean, new bathroom. Breakfast was a good Full English. Absolutely no complaints there. Ample parking which was key. Wi-Fi in rooms was useful though a little weak in parts. 8 parking spaces in total on the site itself and plenty more on the quiet road outside. It is just the right distance from the main city if you have a car or are prepared to take a bus, but definitely not for walking into town.

Staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming! Not a complaint as I had a great stay, but I would just say that the room I stayed in (room 2) felt a bit dated.

Close to the city of Bath, Owner is very helpful and has provided a lot of good information about the city. Parking a bit small but if you don't have a big car, not a problem.

Great location as only 30 minutes walk from main town of Bath along the river Avon bank. Very easy to find hotel and plenty of car parking space as it has it`s own car park. Very warm/friendly welcome and good bye, upon departure, The food and staff were all excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Well equipped rooms which had a high standard to them.

the staff were very welcoming and friendly; our room was large with large en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath, the shower was excellent and always lots of hot water; the large king-size bed was comfortable; staff were very helpful in giving directions into the city centre, around a 10min drive, also in letting guests know what restaurants were close by and recommending the best of them; i would return again and have no hesitation in recommending hotel to others

“Comfortable clean rooms, peaceful ambience, very customer focussed and competent staff. Breakfast was just as previous visitors have decribed, a good selection to please most people and on a par with upmarket hotels. Car parking although £10 a day for the service is worth it in Bath. Location for city centre walking is excellent.” Michael, Wynyard |
