Central location, near to everything. Nice, friendly owners. Lovely and clean. Perfect for a weekend away.
Bed was a little small for us tall people
Doing this review for mum & dad who stayed 2 nights. Location was excellent, lovely room & bed, breakfast basket is a good idea and suited us better as don't eat breakfast early. Plenty of pubs/shops/restaurants in the area.
I liked the location and we had everything we needed in the room. The hotel owners were extremely helpful and we would definately go back and stay there again
The size of room, furnishings, fixtures and fittings
No breakfast option
The owner was very polite and very helpfull. Location was really good and short walk from everything. Room was really comfortable altho bit of a hike up stairs. Loved our stay would book here again next time we go to Brighton
Parking was bit of issue but once we got a space it was fine.
Friendly owners, good location, comfortable beds, very clean, coffe shops, restaurants and supermarkets on the corner.
Location and cleanliness
Like with the majority of hotels in brighton, had to pay for parking
Except the street noise from the pub over the road and the rubbish collectors.
Everything thing about the Aquarium Guest House was fantastic. Right from checking to checking out. Managed to check in early & found a parking space directly outside which is a bonus in Brighton. Staff were very helpful & nothing was too much trouble. The double room we had was spotlessly clean with all mod cons & pretty much everything you need for a room. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back
Our stay wasn't long enough. Nothing to fault
Bay window in room, cute place on nice street with view of wheel and very convenient to pier and town. Owners were always around and very friendly and helpful. Nice furnishings in room with small refrigerator, lots of coffee and fruit and snacks offered. Comfortable bed and soft duvet.
There is a bar across the street that was noisy and prevented us from sleeping well on a Saturday night. Not much isolation on windows to keep noise out. Bathroom fan made lots of noise. Water pressure and temperature were not very good. Heard people walking upstairs late at night.
Scott was very welcoming. The room was lovely and I could see the Ferris Wheel from my front window. The guesthouse is within easy walking distance of Brighton's main attractions and only metres from the beach.
Liked the location, plenty of shops and cafes nearby, short walk to the seafront. The décor was very clean and relaxing. Good quality complementary fruit basket and breakfast bars. Plenty of choice of different teas/coffee/hot chocolate etc.
There was a bit of noise from late night revellers, but it didn't last very long.
Central position Helpful owners Clean comfortable room
Wonderful friendly welcome; felt like we were visit friends rather than staying at paid for accommodation. Room was lovely, exactly as described and very spacious and clean. Location was perfect
It was a little loud through the night with both party people and glass bin collection, and we stayed on week day so potentially a problem at weekends. I am quite an easy sleeper but even I struggled with the pillows; they were like rocks!
Location was perfect, the owners were great. Not having to get up for breakfast but opening the shutters and having fruit/cereal bar in the sun. The cleanest place I have ever stayed.
We've been too Brighton a number of times staying in a different place each time and this was by far the best
we are returning guests because we loved everything about the guest house, we can recommend it highly
Location superb Spotless room and bathroom Very helpful owner
Nothing. that was in the owners control.
All the little free bits and pieces. Nice owners.
Great location, nice decor, clean, friendly staff.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Room immaculately clean, with excellent furniture and large very comfortable bed. All perfectly described. In vibrant area with interesting shops and restaurants and 1 min walk to sea and 5 to harry r fish and chips
Very little. TV had no `ceefax` or red button facility and couldn't get bbc1 sometimes. Bit overpriced at £100 pn (you can find around half of that) but dnt think you would get the quality of service or room
Location to centre of brighton, the room was very nice with large bed
Wi fi was poor on the top floor. A bit of nightime street noise
Very friendly and happy to make suggestions of bars, restaurants and give directions.
Interior facing rooms can be quite warm due to lack of any noticable breeze.
