3 people staying one fork!! Single bed collapsed and fridge broken, fuse in kitchen blown, T.v on blink no clear instructions as to enter or exit the car park, or space reserved for flat - car got vandalised. Other than a phone call had no contact with staff
The owner was friendly and accessible by mobile phone. The apartment was clean (it was being cleaned as we arrived). View over the Mersey.
On Arrival the apartment we booked on King's Dock was unavailable. I have rated the apartment we were offered as a replacement on Old Hall Street. Rather than look for alternative accomodation having just driven to Liverpool, we accepted the alternative, however there were several short comings. Had we been staying for more than two nights we would certainly have left early. The apartment is in a residential block and was in need of repair with wear and tear damage to the carpets and kitchen fittings. There were no plugs in the bathroom, the owner brought some that just about fitted when we called to alert him. The pay by token electricity began to alert and we had to ask the building concierge to come and reset the system. This was a single bedroom apartment, when we had booked a two bedroom apartment to give our 5 year old his own room. The alternative was an extra mattress in the bedroom. There were only two dining places at a breakfast bar, and no table to eat at. This apartment was not walking distance to tourist attractions with a 5 year old. The switch on the kettle was broken. I would not book this apartment again, and will be wary of booking apartments in the future.
